Floyd would nev3er fight a Williams or Cotto :good
why do you think that?
Is it because Floyd said "who has Margorito fought" instead of fighting him, if it is carlito that isn't ducking thats logic.

I doubt he would fight Paul but he'd beat Cotto easily. I would like to see Paul fight Cotto.

williams' footwork has much to be desired he regularly trips over his own feet. i don't think he can hang with floyd but it'd be fun to watch.

well what williams has is tremendous workrate hieght reach chin and odd angles on punches
for me he gives floyd a tough fight but floyd is the truth he just is too much of a cunt to be number 1

Yeah i agree, PBF wanting to fight a top 10 p4per who happens to be the Ring and lineal champ at the weight below is just terrible if you ask me, if he was to fight some guy who has just earned a paper title however it would be a real example of courage:patsch

That would be a great fight to watch. Styles make fights. Mayweather would have to make some adjustments to deal with the long-limbed PW. Any "normal" size welter is going to have problems "boxing" with PW. Mayweather would have to get inside and use his quicker more accurate punches to keep PW off balance. That is not a style that Mayweather usually fights, but I think he could do it. PBF claims he is the greatest ever. If that is true, he should fight a guy like PW that will cause him to have to adjust his game. Would be a great fight to watch.

It would be a completely boring fight to watch Mayweather needs to be in with someone who can hurt him if he is to be in an exciting fight, someone who will pressure him and make him increase his punch output.

Mayweather has fought far better competition than both. Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya are all great fighters.

PBF wouldn't fight Williams, but he'd murder Cotto.

I've always felt that way, the fight a couple days ago just made me feel even stronger about this opinion.

Pauls volume of punching gives anyone one fits! Not to mention his freakishly tall and lanky frame in the WW division.

Why cause he was tagging a slow plodding stationery fighter that likes to catch punches with his face? Mayweather is faster has more skill and is a defensive genious he would not get hit like margo was.
You're right...Floyd wouldn't get hit like Margo was.....But nothing Floyd will do will will diminish the Punch output of Williams which is why Floyd would have a tough time with Paul. Not saying Floyd wouldn't find a way to adapt and win...he always does...but It would definitley be a TEST!

Disagree. PBF will counter the crap outta Paul. That alone will give Paul a big reason to NOT toss those punches out there as much.
Not to mention that fact that he'd have a tough time just getting a bead on Floyd.

He probably would counter Paul...but floyd's work rate wouldn't be able to match pauls....and there is no way in hell Floyd could counter 1200+ punches comming at him.
That means Paul will have floyd back peddaling (which isn't Floyd at his best) and possibly get Floyd on the ropes (anther rare case where Floyd is not at his best)
Floyd is a master counter puncher and he'll have success against Paul sometimes...but That also means Floyd will be seeing FAR More leather coming at him than he is use to seeing.
Margo has far more power than floyd a WW and he tagged Margo a few times and none of those punches gave Paul a second thought about continuing his puch out put....if anything it gave him extra motivation to continue on with his constant pressure.
Landing on floyd is always a tough thing to do...but most people don't give themselves enough chances to land b/c they don't throw enough punches.....Paul is not in that category.

Reach:
PBF = 72"
Paul williams = 82"
Height:
PBF = 5'-8"
Paul Williams = 6'-1"
Workrate:
PBF = Low
Paul Williams = High
Styles:
PBF = Defensive counter puncher, fights orthodox
Paul Williams = Aggressive action fighter, fights southpaw
It could be a long night for Floyd. I doubt that Joy Jr. ever gets near him. Besides, who did Paul just beat...a nobody in Floyds eyes. So that must make The Punisher a nobody, too.

All equel that we get bored to death for 12 rounds while pbf wins another match with relative ease.

I disagree, Paul williams is a south paw who throws throws throws, but lest be honest, he had every advantage against Margarito Size Reach and the south paw stance and he threw over 1000 shots and was still limited to landing just over 200 and the fight was a one round victory for Paul, this is against Margarito of which All the Floyd fans says has the worse defense ever.
So knowing that against the guy who has the best defense ever who can move better has better hand speed and footwork, Paul gets clearly out boxed by the smaller quicker Mayweather, the only reason Paul won the fight with Tony was on size alone he is a big mother fucker doesnt look like a welter weight to me, and he sure isnt 62 more like 6'4 but he does not look like a welter weight to me
