Sugar says Jones/Calzhaghe already made

Who knows if it's true but on the ESPN CHAT thing Sugar says the Jones fight is made if Calzaghe beats B'Hop. I hope not as I don't think that's a particularly good fight and all it will prove is that Cal is better than two of the best fighters in the 90's... during the 00's. Still...

So it looks like the fight will happen in the third quaretr of 2008. Who wins? I have got to see this fight between Hopkins and Calzaghe first before I tell you. I think we are getting ahead of ourselves. Because Roy Jones like Bernard is aprt of the AARP boxing club, and I want to see how Hopkins' legs hold up to Calazaghe before I make any predictions against Roy Jones Jr.

Good news... Jones is no way an easy opponent even at 39 but of course he's not as good as Kessler and Hopkins in 2008. Still, I think it's a harder fight for Joe than Calzaghe vs. Pavlik... Pavlik is soooooo perfect for Joe, so predictable and Jones is still very crafty and unorthodox...

mmm...money means more than titles...joe could pick up another legit world title after this fight with hopkins by fighting antonio tarver...who he would beat every day of the week...i wouldnt be as confident of his chances against jones...you never can tell with a wiley old fox like jones what hes got left...

In 2008? Definitely not. But let me put it this way: Kessler would've murdered Tito in a couple of rounds, KO'd Hanshaw and Ajamu inside 8 and outpointed Tarver. Anyway, he would've made easier work than Jones who's still very quick and pretty good, but not as sharp as he used to be.
