DM vs Ottke Off! Team DM: Contracts were not honored

The "oldies" clash between former world champions Dariusz Michalczewski and Sven Ottke has imploded. Team Michalczewski has announced that 'The Tiger' is no longer available "due to the non-compliance with key contractual elements." The fight, slated for May 24th at the TUI Arena in Hannover, Germany, never really caught on as TV networks showed little interest and ticket sales were lukewarm at best. Both Michalczewski and Ottke were reportedly to receive around €2 million each.

Would have liked to see DM put a blemish on Ottke's career, even a shot DM had a good chance to KO Sven, though the judges/ref would probably have been stacked against him. Maybe this was the problem involving the contracts?

Ottke should have fought Joe when they both were in their prime,and DM should have fought Roy Jones when they both were in their prime.
