I'm a fan of Joe from America and Black at that. But today watching the fight I realize people only see what they want. Because I just got done watching it. And from talking to people they were telling me Bernard was whooping his ass and had him hurt after the knock down. When I FINALLY SEEN IT IT WAS AN EASY FIGT TO SCORE FOR JOE

The fight was close for 6 rounds ala Calzaghe/kessler, but after that, Joe pick up the pace and won 5 of the last 6.

Btw, it's impossible to look good against Hopkins, ask Eastman, Taylor, Dlh, Trinidad, Wright, Tarver, to name a few.

Banned for what, trying to make it a good fight vs. the man who makes you look bad? For Christ's sake, THEY should know how bad US Hero Hopkins make you look... so it wasn't the fight to win US fans in the US but hey, he still beat Hopkins...

But just imagine Joe fighting in the US vs.

I think the whole idea coming to the US BECAUSE that's the way to prove that you are not protected is BS. Thousand of miles away and still Calzaghe's UK fans showed up. Where were the US fans? They've asked for Joe to come and when he finally came, they never showed up. What a shame.

Joe should fight in Wales and England simply because he sells 50.000 tickets. He could've shown his great talent vs. Lacy in the US but for what, 600 paying Lacy fans? A fight vs. Jones makes sense only in the UK. I see the one an only fight packing a huge US venue is Calzaghe vs. Pavlik as both Joe and Kelly has a large loyal fan base. Still, 5000 vs. 50.000.

What people need to realise is that Calzaghe underperformed and still won!

Calzaghe doesnt need to crack the US, he can make enough money at home in Wales/UK. It would be nice for he to be respected over there but i dont think he would care to much, i mean people are only coming around now to the fact that he is a great fighter.
