Jirov defeated Craven in 2nd round by TKO. This fight for Jirov was only to show that he is in a great shape and ready to take on any opponent in cruiserweight division. The fight with Virgil Hill for the title is getting arranged now.

Glad to see Jirov back where he belongs. He can bring more eyes and excitemant to the already deep cruiser division.:good

If it will be an eliminator and if hbo or showtime buys the fight(why the hell they wouldn't), tell me where I sign.

From what I found about the fight - in the first round Jirov bloodied Cravens nose (dont know if it was broken or not) and at the second round Jirov kept going after Cravens body and after one of the hooks to the liver Craven decided to stop the fight after the standing count.

As for fighting against Jirov - you got to be in a very good shape and have a lot of stamina and strong chin. Like Toney - you've got to withstand all the brutal bodyshots (from what I've heard Toney allegedly used steroids before Jirovs fight). Anyway Jirov makes every fight exciting and I would love HBO or Showtime or at least ESPN to televise his fights.

dlogvine, I saw those two sparring videos of Jirov you just posted on YouTube.

You planning on posting any of Jirov's actual fights as well?

We are looking for the footage and if Thell Torrence's staff has anything we will definitely post them all. I had an impression that they have some of his previous fights. I'll definitely upload Jirov-Craven as soon as I get the footage (next week). They will be on jirov's website and probably on you tube.

Cool, I'd definitely like to see how he looked against Craven.

And if you get the opportunity, can you see if you can post the entire Toney/Jirov fight? The only thing people post is the 12th round.

I actually saw the whole fight on You Tube once and then it disappeared. I'll look into it and if I find it, I'll upload it.
