I really do, I been wanted to see this fight for along time. But I had people mad at me before I got suspended telling me no. But what yall think or would yall rather see him and Pavlik. Because I would like to Abrham and Pavlik first

Anytime there is a mega fight where non-boxing fans become interested in a fight, it's always good for boxing. The DLH/PBF fight was good for boxing.

Good one, man I MET Al Haymon yesterday at the Jay-Z concert and tlak to him for about 15 minutes. He told me that he will not let Tarver fight Dawson and Floyd vs Margo. He said they will lose. I said it will be good for boxing, he told me fuck boxing. But he will let Floyd fight Cotto and Cal vs Tarver. aND i'M floyd fan and couldn't believe it

It would've been great for boxing if it happened years ago. Yet, it will get casual boxing fans attention I guess.

I think it will get everyone attention, Bernard fought so dirty yesterday, that anyone should understand who seen it. So Jones and Calzaghe would be huge. Imagine the promotion

this fight should have happened a few years ago.
RJJ should hang up the gloves and calzaghe should fight Pavlik and show the hardcore fans what he is made of. the RJJ fight will prove nothing due to Roy being shot
I don't.
We don't need another seniors tour at LHW, Calzaghe should take on some of the actual champions.

Honestly I think he should not fight at LHW. He didn't seem fast or maybe hopkins style made him like that. But I think him and Roy should fight at 170, and honestly the seniors are the ones selling these days

Honeslty I think Pavlik is made for Calzaghe and his one two. BUT i WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT, but would rather see Abhram vs Pavlik first as a setup for the winner. Then Jones or Calzghe can retire as being one of the top 5 p4p

Of course this is good for boxing, there are soooo many Roy Haters that will tell you that RJJ is shot and yadi yadi yah.....but thats just rubbish...
Although RJJ was KO'ed twice, he was very competative in his fights. RJJ delivers action in every fight...he is one of the most popular fighters in boxing along side De La Hoya and Mayweather. This will also be in Whales infront of 50,000+ on HBO PPV. Why do you think they put B Hop on regular HBO, noone really cares to watch him because for the past 5 fights he hasnt really fought in his fights:lol: . He does that one hit/headbutt/hold combo or if thats what you want to call it.
I seen all this bull shit about Macky Shilstone & the DREAM Team he assembled. How he was feeling 28 and how he was gonna expose Calzaghe and how that Calzaghe isnt a LEGEND and how fighters in Europe are lesser fighters than those in the US and all that jibberish was put to rest last night by Calzaghe.
B Hop is a disgrace for trying to steal, cheat & fake his way to a win last night & then on top of that NOT GIVE Joe ANY credit after the fight was very tasteless by B Hop. I mean Freddie Roach every round told Hopkins that he needed to throw more than 1 or 2 punches at a time, and then in one of the late rounds he tries to trick B Hop into actually thinking he can control the fight by telling him " You need to walk him down, you are the bigger/stronger fighter"- a statement that even the HBO Crew thought was comical:rofl .
Anyways Congrats to JCC for actually coming to fight and Roy Jones Jr will come to Bang and put on a show. Its unfortunate that he doesnt have enough power to keep Roy from letting his hands go. Roy is much more versatile than B-Hop when in actually comes to putting his punches together in quick fashion. I expect a shootout:good

Honestly I don't think the fight will be easy, if Jones is motivated it wil be a great fight. Plus both can fight there regular styles in this fights. I just hop that when jones does the ropa a dope. That the ref doesn't stop it in Wales like THE mANFREDO fight

Joe will get no credit for this win.
Dawson/Tarver/pavlik are the only guys he should be looking at, granted he will have a better retirement fund fighting RJJ at Wembley, but he will get no recognition and if anything only more abuse.
it will be as meaningful as Rocky Marcianos win over Joe Louis.

I would love to see this fight. The thing is that Joe C has one last chance at fighting Roy and same goes the other way around. Where as Pavlik/Dawson/Tarver/Johnson aren't going anywhere anytime soon especially Pavlik and Dawson. Both Roy and Joe C have a tremendous amount of respect for each other unlike Hops, both are very entertaining to watch and should be a very competitive fight. Also Joe C is the only boxer out there right now that I wouldn't be devestated if he beats Jones. If Jones loses to Hops are Johnson again i'll lose my mind lol.

If Jones gets a credible win under his belt against a legit top 10 light heavyweight then maybe this fight is worth taking a look at. Until then its just a big paycheck for both.

Jones is completely shot. He can't fight for 12 rounds, just like Hopkins, but unlike Hopkins, he can't defend for 12 rounds either.
A capable opponent pressuring and attacking Roy probably will get the stoppage. I wouldn't watch this fight because I have no desire to see Jones get KOd again.

I would have thought after Dawson's last performance he would be lining up Tarver to fight him. Tarver packs a big punch and Dawson has a shaky chin to say the least. He also seems to think that Cotto with his methodical stalking style is the safer fight for Floyd? I wonder if it's based on the belief that Cotto can be hurt easier and hence stopped if Floyd can land enough flush shots?

What's not to like? Two veteran masterboxers with catlike reflexes
exchanging blinding flurries on each other. I can't wait for this fight.
It would be like watching a fight scene from the movie Matrix. Both
these fighters have superhuman speed. Besides Jones looks rejuvenated
these days and should not be underestimated.

I have no problem with RJJ. Pavlik should be next, beating all the Champs/former champs from 160-175 would be quite a feat.

I believe it will be a very good fight. If Hopkins hurt Joe, what would Roy do to him? I don't know why so many members keep repeating the same old, Pavlik, Pavlik, Pavlik. Let him first beat a couple more contenders before you crown him the next best boxer. He already said he wants to keep fighting at MM. I don't understand some fans how they see one guy have a few good wins and become champion and then they want him to immediately start jumping to other weight divisions. He has only had the belt for two fights. Let him become the undisputed MM champion and then possibly he will move up.

I alwys wondered the samething, and thats how fighters get called overrated. Plus you seen what happen to Vargas and Zab never move fighters quickly. At first I was made a Cottos comp. But knowIunderstand what Arum is doing

do you know how old jones is? how shot he is? I wanted to see this fight but that was like about 5 or 6 years before but now no way... I would rather see a live opponent like dawson or tarver
