Does anyone know where I can get a pair of boxing shoes like they used to wear during the 30's 40's 50's ? The solid black leather kind, not the everlast "cheap" leather ones, but high quality. Any help would be nice, thanks.

Take thee non-response as a hint that no, we don't. Probably because they haven't made shoes like that for about 50 years.

Speaking of shoes, tell Lee we're about to test that theory that the RJJ shoes make you fight better, they'll be getting some use in like 2 weeks at the Ringside tournament.

He is a joker. It's because you made a major improvement from the first sparring session. However, you know and I know that it was me training you in the days leading up to the next sparring session that made it an even fight. Remember 'cutting off the ring like Kostya Tszyu'?!

EDIT - in fact I may even give you the first two rounds of that session!

Of course both of us know that, but it's funny Lee swears by the Jones'.

Speaking of that, I'm going to have to PM you in a little bit here.

Didn't you say those were too big?

No, those are actually quite comfortable, I mean in terms of size they are somewhat large. Remember, Steve wore them out in Billings.

Oh, Achilles, forgot to tell you-I leant the Jones to the Super Heavy from our gym to use in his first fight. He won by stoppage in about 30 seconds.

Lee does swear by the RJJs. Kolya became a different fighter. I remember them being quite a good fit? They are quite good boots I think.

They fit quite well. We'll see how they go, I'll finally get to use them for a fight.
