Still recovering from being battered by Jon Thaxton probably.

Still recovering from being battered by Jon Thaxton probably.LOL I was going to say I saw him at the back of Bethnal Green looking for his chin after Thaxton sent it into Row Z.

It landed in the pool at the Hotel Samos in Magaluf, July 2006.
Shortly after a scouse lad chinned a German for stealing his sunlounger, perhaps they crossed in mid air?

He seemed hurt everytime he got hit with any sort of grazing shot. He just had zero punch resistance.

he had a decent dig on him tho didnt he? Yes, very good puncher. Had quite nice technique too but then when he would go in for the finish his chin would go up in the air like a dog smimming.

Battered?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but Thaxton spent the whole fight trying desperately to avoid the offensive machine (relatively speaking) that was Ryan. Then he caught Ryan flush whilst desperately bobbing and weaving.....

Its on youtube somewhere. Also the Ryan-Hale massacre was incredible. Ryan was meant to be going places.

He was an exciting fighter to watch but he had the worst chin that I can remember on a British Champion.

The whole fight being one round?!

Perhaps I made an incorrect statement when saying battered, but I think most get my drift!
