Of course. Cintron has improved a lot since teaming up with Manny and he would beat Margo this time around.

This is a fight that should be made.
If Cintron wants to get in on the welterweight elite, he needs to prove the Margarito fight was really a growing pang. Anyone who has moaned over the past two years that Margarito doesn't deserve fights with the likes of PBF, Mosley, etc., really ought to think twice before saying that KO's of Mathysse and Estrada make Cintron a major attraction.
As for Tony, he's on the outside looking in (again). He should be looking at Cintron and Judah, or a campaign at 154.

He could but will he? Thats up to Cintron, just cause Margo didnt win, doesnt mean that all of a sudden hes a bum....

I think PW's jab gave Margo fits and kept him away for the first half of the fight. Cintron doesn't have the jab that Willams have and he needs room to puch that Margo wouldn't give him. That doesn't mean Cintron wouldnt catch williams coming in though, man is he accurate. I would love to see this fight but I think Cintron needs another win to get a title shot

You guys forget that Cintron looked unstoppable BEFORE the Margorito fight, and Margorito OWNED him.
He looked VERY beatable against Estrada, he got hit WAY too much and WAY too hard that fight, and if Estrada was any better of a fighter he would of stopped Cintron that night.
Don't overrate Cintron yet, and don't sleep on Margorito spoiling some fighters championship dreams.

I think Margarito stops him again.. Cintron doesn't have any heart and he showed that in his fight with Margarito.. I don't care how many C class fighters he knocks out and that hes with Emmanuel Steward now. He still has no heart and when the going gets tough he'll look into his corner for them to stop it again like he did in the Margarito fight.

Cintron all the way, Margo's future doesn't look very promising. :bbb
cintron makes it more competitive in a rematch but i have my reservations.

Well, that "unknown club fighter" went 10 rounds with the guy people are suddenly putting up there with PBF, Mosley, and Cotto just 3 fights ago.
I don't subscribe to the "Fighter A beat C worse than fighter B did, so A must be better" mantra, but Cintron is more effective than you give him credit for, and anytime you're the most devastating puncher in the division, you're going to be in pretty much every fight. George Foreman looked like shit compared to alot of guys in training drills, but it didn't make it any easier for his opposition come fight night.

Based on their performance yesterday, yes I believe so. The guy vastly improved under Manny Steward.

I think Margo is still a worse matchup stylistically than Williams is, and smothering KC to try and break his confidence is the best tactic by far to try and beat him. What's working in Cintron's favor is that he's fast enough to land big shots on outside fighters and looks to have gotten stronger physically to try and combat the bullying tactic people will probably try to beat him with in the future.
Of course, we won't know how he does against the top guys until he gets in there, but I'd like to think he won't fold under pressure again like he caved in the Margo fight. He's earned a chance to test himself against a top opponent next, so we'll find out sooner rather than later.
Williams vs Cintron is a fight I'd absolutely kill to see get made. Though I've posted I'd pick Cintron to win, I could easily see Williams winning if Kermit's not there 110% mentally and physically. That would be a great fight for boxing.

Cintron might be able to beat Margo, but when you lose to a particular fighter, they have a mental edge over you. RJJ could have beaten Tarver in the third fight I'm sure of, but he was so afraid of getting knocked out that he fought not to lose instead of fighting to win. In the 5th round, he beat Tarver up pretty well, but in order to sustain that, he would need to risk getting beaten again, and he didn't have it in him. Cintron might be the same way if he fights Margo again.
