Hopkins came out to "young, gifted, and black" by Big Daddy Kane.

The song is entitled “Unbeaten” and was written especially for Joe by unsigned 17 year old Cardiff rapper Joe Hayde.

Hayde, who is the son of retired former Welsh Super Middleweight title challenger Kevin Hayde, is planning to write more songs as he seeks to further his musical career and you could well soon be hearing another Joe Calzaghe inspired piece pumping from the sound system the next time the unbeaten southpaw makes his way to the squared circle.
