Ok so I just came across the following thread, and all I can say is: respect.

For those of you who can be bothered, read all of Amsterdam's posts.

"You can already forsee that ****** is making way for Khan to scalp a WBO without fighting a ranked top 15 threat at LW."

Yep. Amsterdam is fully correct with his judgement. Well done for brining this piece of information to us.

Everyone does now. But this was almost a year ago.

Of course, now that the thread has been revived, I can see why you're annoyed. Isn't personal though, I just thought it was intersting how the guy called the KO before the Limmond fight, and everyone else was disagreeing with him.

Yep I am just glad I went along with my prediction of Calzaghe winning by SD. :good

I predicted Calzaghe would dry hump Nard but only in private among friends.

Happens to the best of us! I won't jump onto the eskimo bandwagon, I think you deserve respect and it's always good to hear what you've got to say.

But you've got to give it to Nostradamus!

I predicted Calzaghe would dry hump Nard but only in private among friends.

Too bad you didn't do it on ESB, you would have had a thread dedicated to you!

Tony Harrison facts.

When Tony Harrison runs the 100 metres they need someone with fast fingers to time him.

When Tony Harrison jogs on the motorway he's only allowed on the overtaking lane.

Amsterdam is very accurate when it comes to several aspects of this sport, but when it comes to Khan -- ironically the thing you seem to find most impressive -- he's at his worst, simply because emotional bias influences him just a little too much in his judgement. He makes good points, but some are too coloured with hate and thus fall within the realm of exaggeration and sometimes silliness. He would be an even better poster is that bias didn't exist. A lot of other people can tell that Khan is more hype than substance, but they can also keep a rational mind and see some of his positive aspects.

This thread was before my time on the brit forum.

Forgive my ignorance but who is Amsterdam?

Outboxer, I'm with you, I'm not saying his stance on Khan is spot on, but it's just that on that particular thread he made a few good calls.

I definitely think Khan is better than what most give him credit for on ESB. However, when there's a lot of hype from fresh audiences mixed with cockiness, then the backlash is inevitable.

When Tony Harrison hits you your legs turn into trombones.

When Tony Harrison fights you, you're allowed kneepads for a safe landing.

i pretty much stand by everything i said in that thread.

Sir Amsterdam is a legendary chin checker though, but when it comes to Khan he gets blinkered.

he said Earl would knock khan the fuck out.

cor...Jeff u were quite pro Khan then, he/his handlers must have pissed you off in the last year m8

I wrote in general "Hopkin's might wear his gimp outfit but Calzaghe will definitely make him his bitch" + I don't know if you saw it but there was a thread in general before the fight - "Will Hopkin's get raped by a white boy who's never been to jail"

Yep I am just glad I went along with my prediction of Calzaghe winning by SD. :good Yeah good call... I was a little disappointed I predicted a Calzaghe UD 116-111 but at least I got the right winner unlike some of these newbies :patsch

LOL. That isn't Nostradamus. ****** gets all his fighters guided to the WBO or WBU depending on their ability. It isn't rocket science.

Khan has faced good opponents but needs a world class fighter on his record. He's fought good english, british, commonwealth and euro class.
