Come on guys, as the thread says Enough is Enough now regarding Hopkins and Calzaghe.

I dont know about any of you, but it was one sheer shit ride of a fight, let me sum it up for you.

Hopkins got in to the shape of his life, and did indeed look the part, but shit he couldnt deliver, and there is no shame in that, lets give the guy credit where credit is due, not many fighters at his age would step in to the ring with another fighter who is younger, fitter, unbeaten, it takes a lot of guts to do that, especially for a man like BH who deep down is a proud man, a fighting man, and despite some posts on here, mine included, does not deserve all the negative stuff being written about him, aand i apologise to BH if he has read my previous posts, on reflection i think we all expected too much of the fight, but if we are all honest with ourselves we shouldnt have expected anything different regarding the outcome, thats not to say that BH didnt have a chance, the guy almost comatosed JC in One!!!

How Many Fighters Avoid The Best out There? Loads!!!

Hopkins Signed to Fight JC and did not let himself down, and if the truth be known totally exposed JC as nothing more than a guy who totally avoids people at there absolute best, the fact of the matter is that even at the age of 43yrs BH still stepped up to the plate, gave it his all, and was unlucky to not get the decision against a man who is supposedly the Linear champion at SMW.

JC is aa great fighter, but he too is on the slide, and all this talk of fighting RJJ should be put on hold, i would like to see him take a leaf out of BH book and fight somebody Ten Years Younger, and see if he can take advantage of them, aand contain them the way in which BH did to him!!!

But that will never happen because JC knows he is well past it now to even consider taking on a challenge like that, i remember Steve Collins Signing to Fight JC only tto pull out, wise decsion from stevie, only for JC to reply, the man is a coward!!

Joe Calzaghe, Practice What You Preach Big Mouth, or forever be remembered as the man who really wasnt sure what he was, Coward or Fighter!!!!!

Can this be moved to the general forum please? The "special" lot on there will appreciate it more.

Comments like "hes on the slide" really do display how he would have been viewed throughout the rest of his career had he frequently faced real top opposition.

It was only six months ago he gave his best ever performance, now hes shot? :-(

The bottom line is he looked amature at times against an 43 year old elite pro on Saturday and would have looked no great shakes had he faced elite fighters in the past, IMO.

He simply slid back down the pole to his real level. That's not to say that Joe isnt a great fighter, he is!

Having said that I think Prime Hopkins, Toney, RJJ all perhaps beats him.

Fair play to Joe for winning though on Saturday.

Yep Calzaghe beat the two best guys in his division who were a lot younger than him.

Is it time for B-Hop fan's to stop crying yet?

joe never got the chance to fight his type of fight with bhop dictating the pace so therefore looked a little mediocre, but i would'nt look to far into this, joe still has it in the tank i'm sure and a fight with pavlik would test this.

I was bored of the fight before it happened because of this site, especially in general.
