something new i saw from Roy

I noticed in his fight with hanshaw he did somthing i hadn't seen him really do much of before. when he would manage to get off of the ropes, he would walk foward and just put his hands up by his face almost like Ali to block punches and keep moving foward. iunno just seemed abit new to me coming from roy but i also haven't slept in a day and a half

Roy is starting to look his age but hanging in there with a young guy like Hanshaw is an accomplishment if you ask me. Props to Roy. Now, I would love to see another old timer Bernard hopkins put it on Winky on the 21st

seriously as youre energy and reflexes fade with age,its easier to just put youre arms up, i guess

i actually thought he worked rather hard to make the fight entertaining

yeah, when he would come foward with his arms up ready to block, he looked alot like winky wright, occasionally throwing a right hand out and following with a little combination. still the most entertaining thing about that fight for the crowd was roy doing little dance numbers. Most of the fight was Roy on the ropes and Hanshaw trying in vein to hurt him.

Good fight, Roy worked hard for the win and entertained the crowd. He showed that he is still a pretty damn good fighter even though he is 38.

One thing I never understand with Jones is that he seems to think that laying on the ropes is cool. He probably thinks he has the chin of Ali. :patsch

Hasn't anybody from his team ever told him that was his mistakes in his fights with Tarver and Johnson?

And don't give me that bullshit that he is old. Hopkins is much older than him and Hopkins even now do not even lay on the ropes.
