Why are so many shit cards on PPV. God forbid they be televised. How do they make any money. Who buys these things?

Joe = dead to boxing world

He was blown WAY out of proportion before the brain smash and now he is completely shot. Has anyone watched him? He looks like he is fighting in a toughman competition in backwoods Arkansas or something. The guy was very limited before and now his life is on the line.

Have to disagree a bit here. He was protected, yes ("Babied" Joe Mesi), but no matter what you say, he has fast hands for a heavyweight and definitely has power. His wins over Barrett and Williamson were good ones.

You're right, he looked awful and shot early in his comeback, but when I saw him in February he was in pretty good shape, his body looked more fit and the speed was still there.

To say his head is "mush" is a little hyperbolic. He seemed pretty well spoken to me in the post-fight interview. I'm willing to give Mesi a chance, the medical condition notwithstanding. It's his brain, his life, and if he's been cleared to fight, then he's been cleared to fight.

I could see Mesi working his way back into the top 15, and Sherman Williams is a logical step to get him there.

I hope you're kidding but incase you aren't I'll use your logic so maybe you'll understand that Mesi does suck has always sucked and will always suck

Baby Joe had the toughest fight at that point in his career against Monte Barret who he won by a very close decision... The same Monte Barret that Wlad embaressed

seriously if Joe Mesi fights Klitschko he may die

Quite frankly, I did not think Mesi belonged in the top 25 when he was healthy. I saw a very awkward punching average guy that does not have excellent power or a good chin. He struggled with Jirov and Barrett. Those guys are not class HW's.

He definitely belonged in the top 25. Barrett was a solid fighter and Mesi clearly beat him, although he faded down the stretch. Williamson at the time was also considered a serious contender at 18-1 and Mesi absolutely startched him.

Look, I'm no great fan of Mesi, but give him his due. He was clearly in the top 20 at the time of his injury.

dont worry........he´ll never fight wlad.

:good Good post. I agree. I do think he may manage to enter the top 15, but I think he'll be sent home as soon as he fights just about anyone from the top 15.

But he certainly deserves a chance to show what he's got. Go Mesi.

Mesi KO 5 or 6 over williams. mesi has been looking good over the last few fights. if he is cleared to fight it is his right to do so whereever he is cleared to fight be it in backwoods arkansas or south africa. let the man make a living in the best way he knows how
