Dawson v. Haye at Cruiser, if Dawson had three years to build up - who wins?

Too big a jump from light heavyweight to cruiserweight now since it moved from 190lbs to 200lbs. A 25lb weight difference may not always mean alot at heavyweight but it would damn sure make a difference at light heavyweight. Haye is simply too big and too powerful, it wouldn't last long.

Come on Haye versus Chad, this would be over way too quickly. David is way to big and strong for a LHW to deal with.

People say Chad will move up to HW one day - he said so himself. So, why is it ridiculous for him to build up to CW in 36 months - a long time? Look at Adamek - he did it successfully in a year, and he is smaller than Chad and has a smaller reach.

This is not a Chad bashing thread - it's an even more transparent attempt to bag me some nuthuggers.

Chad could easily fight at CW - he's not too small, framewise. Of course, he'd be stupid to do that, with his chin and lack of power. His speed and workrate would collapse and he'd be fairly average.

But styles make fights. Pavlik could easily fight at 168 and 175 - and he will one day. It's silly to argue that Dawson is much bigger, because he fights at LHW. Dawson doesn't even take advantage of the 175 limit, because he wants to maintain his speed and workrate, so he doesn't bulk up, lacking power the way he does.
