There are some photographs that I regard as 'epic' - here is one of them:

The thing I like about this photograph is the stark contrast between delight and dread - Carmen Basilio jumps for joy in the background, but closer to the camera we view darker scenes as a dangerously unconscious Tony DeMarco is tended to by his cornermen.
