Hatton. Though great is stretching it.
Hopkins was great at MW but he surely could have made some noise at SMW and LHW too
Hagler maybe not so much

Bob Foster, although he is way overrated at that weight(light heavy).

Wilfredo Gomez, great at 122! Not the same at 126, 130.

Michael Moorer - Great at LHW
stop it...he won titles 3 times at heavy, and was undisputed champ...much more success than light heavy

Yeah.
Moorer was a beast at light-heavyweight, but it's not like he fought a lot of top opposition there.
I don't think the other titlists were too anxious to fight him.
Wlad, great at HW. He will be KO'ed in CW.

Don't get me wrong he was a good heavyweight but i thought he was a great LHW. Isnt that what the thread is about? Just my opinion anyways

yeah, my bad man, I just strongly disagree. He was great at heavyweight, and good at light heavy. He didnt fight any competition to make him great at light heavy.

moorer was un underachiever at heavyweight, he could have done more with discipline. at light heavy, he was a beast.

it's probably harder to name guys great in more than 1 of the original weight classes (not the 5lb divisions). all fighters have an ideal weight and it takes something very special to have greatnes outside that weight.

Freitas.
Great at 130. Not the same at 135, but still good enough to be a 2 time world champ.

Shane pulled off his biggest wins at 147, but he looked the best - and far better - at 135. The Shane of 1998 vs. the LWs of 2008 is a one-sided massacre.
