The max he will ever get to is a pound for pound placing of #11 to 20 in my eyes.

Just doesn't have that good a boxing brain.

thats what i figure, kind of a 1 dimensional fighter, albeit that 1 dimension he has is good. could he change tactics when its not going well for him ala calzaghe/hopkins. With a world class trainer in essence providing the brains I think he could go far.

Or he could get a good defensive coach, because he is leaky as hell. Needs to protect that China.

Amir should haver featured on an american card by now.. I feel a win over Edner Cherry would have risen his stock by a huge amount........

Just showing willing early in his career to go to america and win would mean an awful lot in some circles...

the guy has serious flaws and with the opposition that he is fighting it could be quite a while before the IBF give him a shot. :lol:
