in this order.

Hatton- Get that undisputed 140 belt that Hatton denied you when he said he wasnt ready.

Mosley- In defense of your 147 undisputed championship.

Cotto- In a year and a half, after Cotto unifies with another belt.

Then call it a career. Any other fights dont matter.

I'm not a Mayweather fan, but if he did that, I would give him some credit.

I think PBF will only fight 2 more times. I think he wants to get to 40 wins. The fights I want are PBF-Hatton and PBF-Shane or Cotto.

Would all be good fights. ONly thing is, if he was to fight Hatton, it would have to be at 140. Otherwise there's no belt changeing if Floyd won. He wouldn't be seen as the linear 140 champ.

Why is Williams irrelevant?? He just won a title from a guy most didnt want to face??

He is very relevant, until and if he loses.

The only ones who want to see PBF-Hatton are Hatton haters and delusional Hatton fans.

they didnt want to face him because of his height,

so williams is even more screwed if he wants more fights he HAS TO move up in weight but does he have the punching power to deal with bigger guys? no he doesnt, so at this point he is irelevant :deal

a[Only registered and activated users can see links] youve relaced margo with williams in all of your posts...I guess Mayweather has to be scared of someone, right?

I would add PW to that list. He is a very solid guy I'd like to see how Mayweather deals with the Height/reach and massive punch output advantage PW has on him.

Coming from someone who is a fan of NEITHER fighter, I actually think the public wants to see PBF-Hatton. The money will be there, you have an American vs. a Brit (good marketing angle), the bad blood such as Hatton's smacktalking after the Castillo fight, as well as the TRUE 140 lbs. championship on the line.

However, I don't think PBF would move down to 140 after fighting at 147 and 154 for two years. My guess is that the fight would be at welter for PBF's title with maybe a catchweight of 142-144.

For PBF's legacy's sake I would like him to make 140 one last time, just so that he could be the LEGIT world champ at 130, 135, 140, and 147.

As far as Williams, it would take a buildup win over Mosley or Cotto for him to have a shot at this point, because even after beating a name like Margarito, this fight is too high-risk, low $$$ reward for Floyd.

He's gotta get past the past the Hitman to do that and no matter what anyone says he isn't.

Hatton 44-0(32) Mayweather 38-1(24)

After they fight

100$ says that even if Mayweather beat all 3, most people here would still say he needs to beat the next batch of "top" fighters.

Mayweather beats Hatton and Cotto he seriously improves his already superb cv. Those three all fight each other is would be a little reminiscent of the fab four - and that's what he'd be remembered for.

Hatton beats him, though - gotta stick up for the Brit.

I agree with you, there is no other possible fights or at least not as important as those.

I agree, that's why fighters nearly always end up retiring with a hideous loss, imo.

However, fights with Cotto and Hatton, in reality, are the big ones of the era he belongs to - Mosley and ODLH feel like an older generation.

gotta love PBF fans, who see what they want to C and nothing more:lol:

Gee, you might have noticed ALL MY POSTS BEFORE Saturday's fight said THE MARGARITO VS WILLIAMS WINNER:yep They did because the winner is a titleholder and RELEVANT AT 47:good I picked Williams and it is Williams.

Saying Williams is irrelevant is BULLSHIT PLAIN AND SIMPLE and illustrates exactly the type of attitude that prevents PBF from facing the best opposition.

 Sorry but that's a JOKE of a response. Williams is a title holder at 47 and has called out Cotto and PBF and is willing to face the top guy's.

Suggesting he move up, because other's are scraed?? Is totally ridiculous.

Aw man you gotta laugh at the Paul Williams bandwagon. One good win in 33 and he's the next best thing since sliced bread ?

Please, as soon as Williams steps up to face pbf, mosely or cotto people will just forget about him.

PW needs to do something else besides have a good showing over an overrated fighter. If he beats about 3 or 4 more people with names (or one of the 3 on the list) then i'd add him to the list.

:thumbsup:deal
yup couldnt have said it better. What has WIlliams done besides beat an overrated fighter, to merit a shot against the P4P king? I think if he beats at least 1 or 2 more credible opponents he definately deserves a shot. but the initial post I agree with. He does that he has nothin else to prove, Unless he wants to take his career to a whole new height and beat a Middleweight for a belt. That would definately bring his legacy to a whole new light. But if he did wat was said in the initial posts. He has nothin more to prove.

As the Floyd Toy's turn:lol:

Love it when Williams beats Marg and immediately claim he's irrelevant??:-( :-( :-(

The bottom line?? He's an undefeated prime young fighter who just captured a ww title and a stake in the WW championship picture.

Further?? P4P is BS that has no real defineable merit. It's a mythical list that changes like the weather and forgotten just as easily. Let Floyd fight the top guy's at 47. LIKE ANY OTHER GREAT CHAMPION HAS DONE!!!

The RING belt would change hands. Hatton remained champion at 140lbs even when he moved up to 147.

Good picks, though tbh I'd love to see the Cotto fight RIGHT NOW. :good

If Williams picks up a couple more wins/another belt, or if Cintron avenged his loss to Margo, you could throw these fights in as huge legacy-cementers as well.

He should fight a few C class guys back to back to rack up some wins.

Then for his 50th fight he should take on Wladdy at heavyweight. He can wear a backpack with a 45lb weight to weigh in at 200. Then he can have his crackhead daddy poison Wlads water. All he has to do is run for 3 rounds before Wlad passes out and he can retire having beaten Marcianos record of 49-0 for heavyweight champs.
