I dont mean to sound like a pussy.... but during the 10th round... i really started to get that ugly feeling i get when i see matches where one guy has completely NO BUISNESS being in the ring with the other fighter... then.... all the glory, all the pride, all the magic that is in boxing... something gets lost... i just wanted it to end, seeing forbes face get puffed up... hes got a good enough chin to get himself really hurt, and as his face was getting puffed... and you KNOW its just gonna be him getting beat down... with all his dreams and goals going down the drain, im hoping he doesnt get seriously hurt.... it brought me back to cotto vs gomez.

Im not expressing myself well enough.... im rushed cuz im off to see a movie but im just saying... fights like this.... idk.

BUT - props.... to both fighters, forbes impressed me... and so did oscar.... i really dont dislike oscar at all anymore, but i really hope he dont fight mayweather... id rather him fight cotto, or trinidad... or just retire. At this stage hes not going to beat a slick, moving type fighter... named Mayweather.

Forbes.... big props, he messed up oscars face more then vargas did and mosley did, and can be proud of himself! also... i hope and pray that no serious injury comes to him.

sorry for the pussy thread

I'm with you,

More often than not if a guy has no chance I would like to see the fight stoped.

I saw Vic Darchinyan beat the fuck out of Victor Burgos, I never want to see that happen again.

Forbes has nothing to be ashamed of tonight with the performance he put in. He also didn't take anything close to a seriously career ending beating. And hey, maybe a little of the Goldie magic dust rubs off, and some prospects down the line set him up with a few more paydays so that they can "beat the guy De La Hoya fought." He's got the skills to send a couple of pretenders packing.

If Forbes doesn't retire though, he belongs at 140.

The Cotto - Gomez fight did that for me, I'm all in favor of watching Cotto crush guys and all , but the commision shouldn't have even sanctioned that snuff film waiting to happen.

Forbes did a hell of a lot better than I thought he would, and that wasn't because Oscar didn't perform. Forbes fought his heart out and DID NOT come in there to lose, like I must admit thought would be the case, with all the big $$$$ bullshit lined up.

I'm with you bro, but it's part of Boxing at some point they all get beat.
I mean Chavez Vs. Tszyu was hella painfull to watch...

But they all go thru it.
Louis, Ali, Tyson, Chavez, ect...
I mean remember that ESPN fight where Pea's arm got all F'd up in.
