At the end of the Baer - Galento fight film, Lou Costello interviews
Max and Joe Louis.,

Note: Galento, Cowboy Latrell, and Costello are interchangeable....same body shape.

One thing you notice about Galento.

Everybody backed up against him, Louis, Baer or whoever, and theyalways looked like they had been in a fight afterwards.

Never underestimate a fat boxer, especially when it's a puncher. They may look funny but some can hit hard as hell, take a good shot and still have fast hands. Galento was always dangerous, although i think his lifestyle shortened his career somewhat.

You summed it up exactly...back on the schoolyard when the "fatboy" had had enough taunting by the school bully, who do you think got crushed and decided post-fight not to take on the Pillsbury Doughboy again? (one left hook plus getting sat on usually was enough).

I agree look at david tua
