I have just heard that Mayweather: "totally outboxed" Castillo or how Castillo "had his ears boxed off in the second fight.

He did outbox Castillo. He swept the early rounds and was ahead 7-4 going into the 12th. He took the 12th off and won it 7-5.

Is that totally outboxing him? Totally outboxing a fighter who manages to win 5 rounds.

That means you didn't outbox him enough for 5 rounds.

the rounds that castillo won were close rounds whereas mayweather won his rounds clearly, resulting in people saying he was totally outbxed.

Frankly having 5 close rounds which you lost does not = totally outboxing a fighter.

Calzaghe "totally outboxed" Lacy
Mayweather "totally outboxed" Gatti
Jones "totally outboxed" Toney

Examples of clearly winning but not totally outboxing.

Jones vs Hopkins
Mayweather vs De La Hoya
Calzaghe vs Kessler

I have no intrest in talking to: you, bigtime9 or G_RapPBF about Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather lost the first fight.

And won the next fight 116 - 112.

IMO.

the thing that i am trying to say is that the scorecards make it look like a closer fight than it really was. watch the fight again and you will see that castillo is scraping rounds whereas floyd is winning them hands down.

an example of this is tito vs de la hoya, tito won close rounds and de la hoya won rounds by a huge margin.

maybe when scoring a fight then judges should score a clear round 10-8, and if they would less people would be robbed, and when you look back at a fight you would get a better picture of how the fight went.

It was a sound decision and Floyd didn't have a hard time in winning the 2nd go round.

I scored it 116-112 but it was a clear win for floyd while he only just squeaked home on my card in the 1st fight.
