I am especially interested to hear from teke and ajay11. Anyone else who is a big fan of Mundine, whom I've missed, please make sure you write in too!:good
Not an easy question to answer without me seeing footage of fighters.
Fighters i def cant see outboxing/breaking Mundine down are:
Lacy
Andrade
Bika
Green
I really havnt seen too many fighters to compare.

I know I am in a large minority, but I would pick Andrade against Mundine, because of styles.

@ S/Middle ,, Kessler , Bute , Andrade and possibly Froch & Bika ,,, @ Middleweight ,well to be quiet honest as Mandy hasn't fougt there for some time i can't really say ,however i see him coping a beating of AA , Pavlik and Miranda should she ever meet any of them ..look for Mandy to call out every Argentinian middle in the buisness , just because his brave father got beaten by Monzon way back when there is no need to take it out on their entire taxi trade ..

At 168...Kessler and Calzaghe.
Bute would be tough but if I had to go one way or the other, I'd go with Mundine.
Froch  Ok,. a bit harsh, but I think Mundine would have a rather easy time with Froch if they ever fought.
Andrade would lose a wide decision. Sure he piles on the pressure and never stops coming forward, but he has zero defence and his attack is crap.
At 175...Dawson beats Mundine comfortably. Not sure about guys like Hopkins, Tarver ect. I'd have to see Mundine at 175 first.
At 160, Can only really comment on Pavlik, and I'd give Mundine a good chance against him. If Mundine has any chance of scoring this fight, he should jump at it, because the rewards would be massive.

Actually, I think Hopkins beats Mundine at 175, based on the fact that Calzaghe looked bad vs Hopkins, because Hopkins used every dirty trick in the book to spoil for the whole 12 rounds. Calzaghe is the master of adaptation, whereas Mundine is not.
Therefore I see Mundine losing to Hopkins at 175.
Kessler and Calzaghe at 168, Calzaghe again at 175.
Ottke at 168 :yep
Andrade at 168 - Siaca troubled Mundine with his size and ranginess - qualities that Andrade also possesses. Considering Mundine is moving down to MW because he has admitted he can't hang with the bigger SMWs, I think Andrade beats him like Siaca did. I don't believe that Mundine didn't turn up the night he fought Siaca, I believe, in keeping with what he actually said to Siaca after the fight ("Too big, too strong") that Siaca beat a 100% Mundine that night.
I see Hopkins beating Mundine too. Taylor is a 50/50 fight for me. Tarver loses to Mundine (styles...).
JC kicks mundine, Kessler loses in a rematch.
Pavlik is a 50/50 fight, Mundine to beat Wright (Winky's not in his prime anymore and Choc would be the bigger man). Sturm is a walkover for Choc.

At 168 Calzaghe, Kessler again, taylor, hopkins bute, miranda & froch.
At 160 Pavlik, abraham, wright - even still would white wash him, I think sturms a pick em. Honestly mundien has all the tools in the world but I don't think he has it mentally for the elite level. Can anyone tell me about a fight that mundine was losing & he managed to turn it around & score the victory & don't say the 1st soliman fight as the judges did all the work there.

I think Andrade would give him trouble, as he has a very mixed up relentless style throwing from diff angles. But could be an even fight.

If Mundine had fancied his chances against IBF Champ Bute, why didn't he stick around trying to fight him to unify the titles?
Who were those very big SMWs that he thought would be too much for him if not Kessler and Bute?

Had he have these things today, Mundine would get stopped.
I still think he'll beat Andrade, and although he lost to Siaca before, I'd tip him to beat that same Siaca again. Andrade is a bit overrated imo. He's a tough fighter and will be at Mundine all night, but Mundine would pick him off when it matters.

hopkins no power? guess the wind blew calzaghe over in their fight you knob pecks.Yeah. The wind from your fat fanny.
If you seriously think that Calzaghe hasn't taken heavier punches than the one that knocked him down, then perhaps your not the boxing expert you make yourself out to be.
It was a flash knock down, and calzaghe took heavier hits later on in that fight. The fight was only a minute or so old, and sometimes when you get hit early, it shocks you and puts you down.
Similar to the Adamek knockdown in his 2nd fight with Briggs. It wasn't the biggest of hits, and Briggs certainly landed much bigger hits later on without getting the same result.

YEAH OK, I'LL PLAY...but I aint responding to idiotic remarks from the likes of "The Peasant" Josey Wales.
Hopkins would be trouble at this stage of Choc's career because he's never been in against an old pro like B-Hop.
Tarver would be difficult due to his reach, height and class. Only the best have beaten Tarver and he has power in both hands like most lefties.
Chad Dawson would be one of those flip of the coin fights but if Dawson brought his "A Game" then Choc could crumble if he were to fight him tomorrow...
Kessler would be a great match up and would give Choc more problems than Calzaghe who has rarely fought fighters with more speed and agility than himself.
Pavlik showed he can handle speed against Taylor although I still remember thinking that Pavlik was well out of his depth early on in their first fight until he caught Taylor. Forget the 2nd fight because Taylor was fighting Pavlik as well as his own demons...but yes, Pavlik would be a tough nut to beat in the US.
That's it.
Oh yeah, and if he ever fought Glen Johnson let's hope that RJJ teaches him to stay off the ropes. :tired
If you want to hear from Teke, just go and stick a cat in a dishwasher. Now imagine Teke trying his hardest to sound intellectual. One and the same!!!

Mundine to beat all.:thumbsup
Hopkins, Dawson, Calzaghe and Kessler all beat him. Pavlik probably as well, although this is a tough fight. At the moment i would be inclined to go 60/40 for Pav, based on Choc's recent performances. Taylor, Bute would be pickem fights IMO. If i had to bet it would probably be against Mundine because of his poor recent form, poor recent opposition, and the fact that he is so inconsistent.

It's not like he's been beating up bums once a year. He has been slipping them in between decent fights to get the rounds under his belt, to gain the experience needed inside the ring.
Sure the guys aren't great but it's disrespectful to label them "bums" They were guys that you find a level or two below the top grade and fighting these guys who are hungry for a shot at a title is better for Choc than sparring 10000 rounds between one big fight every 12 months.
Seriously, if he fought once a year like some champs then there'd be no mention of his poor challengers, as his record would look like this....
1st Dec 2001 Sven Ottke
2nd Nov 2002 Ricky Thornberry
3rd Sep 2003 Antwon Echols
5th May 2004 Manny Siaca
8th June 2005 Mikkel Kessler
17th May 2006 Danny Green
7th March 2007 Sam Soliman
and before anyone bags Soliman remember that leading up to the Mundine fight he had only lost once (Winky Wright by UD) in his last 23 fights which included victories over Sakio Bika and Nader Hamdan who were both undefeated at the time.
Before the end of 2008 there'll be another decent name added to the list and it won't be an Australian (or South American for that matter) Until then he wants to shut Soliman up for good. Futhermore there are plenty who believe the score is 1-1 between the pair and Soliman has called on Mundine to honour the rematch agreement as they were fighting for a vacant title.
The End
..oh yeah, pictures for those that don't like reading more than 1 paragraph.

The point of the exercise was to show that his fights v "lesser opponents" have not been anything more than high intencity sparring sessions strategically placed in between annual bouts against higher profile oppnents.
Joe Calzaghe has been an undefeated champion for over a decade yet his list opponents is far from extraodinary.

Joe Calzaghe has been an undefeated champion for over a decade yet his list opponents is far from extraodinary. LMFAO , Calzaghe had won a proper title within the first 4 years of turning pro and within 7 years had defended it 7 times and if that dosen't sound impressive take into consideration the fact that he was being promoted by Duff @ the time and Duff had a repuation of holding his fights back and making them wait their turn for a title shot , during the next 7 years of Calzaghes career he has due to injury and problems outside the ring remained unbeaten and has fought blokes like former champs , Charles Brewer , Byron Mitcheal , and then current Champs like unbeaten Jeff Lacy ( the next Tyson lol ) and unified champ Mik Kessler , in between a few money fights ie Manfredo & Bika and then beat Bernard Hopkins . Now look @ Mundine's career first 7 years, NEVER beat anyone of note apart from Danny Green ( No diss to Sam but who has Sam ever beaten ) Mundine has lost every other time he has stepped up in class , Sven lol , Sacia ( laughing even louder ) and an injured Mik Kessler and ran away from Kessler . Mundine is talented but around the world boxing fans are laughing their bollocks off whenever he decides to swan around OZ saying he's the greatest of all time etc etc . lets hope during the next 7 years he actually wins a bonified world title and stops that greatest of all time bollocks tht seems to impress you so much .
I know we have been saying this for a while now, but Mundine has got the next 12 months to start turning his words into actions.

I'll tell you who is going well, and thats Bristol City. They're one game away from making the PL, and at the start of the season they would have been happy to avoid relegation from the championship as they just got promoted there from division 1.
If they make it, they will probably get relegated straight away, but the money they'll receive for qualifying (65 million pound is it?) will ensure they're a force in the championship, and will provide them with a solid platform to go back up again in the near future.
Go you Bristol cunts!

Yeah most of those should beat Choc.
I dunno about Winky at 168 tho.
Lucian Bute & Jermain Taylor would be relatively close i feel.
I would expect the rest to really dominate.:yepIve got all of them winning and i even think if Miranda was to some how get a fight with Choc he would lose. Shit imagine what Danny Green would have done to those Argintine Cab Drivers if Green got in the ring against them.
Choc is good here and in his own enviroment, but i say if he was to take a real decent fight over seas for a title in Vegas he would crumble.
The biggest stage Choc has fought at is Ottke away and Kessler at home. Which he lost both.
Put him against Bute at Atlantic City
Taylor at the Garden
Calzaghe in Cardiff
Pavlik in Vegas
I dont see Choc winning any of the fights i named.

Probably the same as he did against the Mexican cabbie (who lost 15 or so fights in a row once) that he went the distance with. :yep
