Both had theirs up high in this fight but I dont think it made a difference.

I agree with Erratic Behavior on this. It puts too much pressure on the referee to determine what's legal and what isn't. It would be so much easier if they would just enforce the waistline as the maximum height.

Probably not, but I still don't like it.
I mean fighters are often going to try to bend the rules to their advantage. There's only so much a ref can do when guys are sneaky with their fouls and whatnot, but at least beforehand you can have the cup at a proper level.
