Credit to Paul Williams and to those who picked him in this fight. I thought Margos preasure would get to him late, but I thought wrong. Anyways, Paul Williams is defenantly a fighter to watch, top 5 welter IMO.

Dont trip this loss does not make him a bad fighter, he just wasnt on top of his game that night. a rematch is something I would still like to see, and besides we got more action in that fight than we did in the world awaits event.
Top five welter for sure, Margarito is still in the mix dont count him out.

I and others told all of you Margarito fans that Margarito was nothing special at all and a glorified journeyman.
The results against a top 10 fighter showed this time around, it will be the same from here on out.

Paul Williams is better than top 10 IMO.
And I agree with Bazooka, I wont count him out. But I have to say, I thought he was a better fighter. Never one of my favs, but still, I thought he would beat Williams.

He could have easily pulled it out, had he threw some counter shots in the early rounds, but he didnt.

I think that a rematch would be even worse for Tony, I doubt that he will win 2 rounds.

I also picked Margarito and there's no shame with that kind of loss.
Actually it played out as I was saying it will . . . Marg will soften Williams to get to him on the later rounds. And it happened . . . problem is Marg took off late and gave a lot of rounds in the early part oif the fight.
Don't worry buddy . . . he'll be back. :yep

imo tony did not lose anything in that loss. what showed that night was that pw can handle a good body attack, and not fold. because one thing was clear and that was that margarito came to work the body. in hopes of pw folding late. props to pw. but tony is still a player in the division. and i also wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.

Even when your fighter loses, you find a way to put down PBF's accomplishment. What does this fight have to do with anything except the fact that Margarito is not all he was cracked up to be?

it proves that Margarito and Williams, Cotto and Cintron fight the way the fans expect them to, these guys give it their all, they sit down on their shots they take risks, they dont pitty pat they dont run they actually fight, something every fight fan should expect to see especially when they are being paid millions

Well margarito fan club and nuthuggers alike. We will look forward to see him on espn as HBO X his ass out of the top welter mix. So back to showtime or espn more then likely. Margarito lost half of his credit in the clottey fight where he was exposed as being limited with little skill and just can punch gloves for 12 rounds. He was exposed as slow and with no counter punch ability unable to counter a guy that threw 1200 punches. I mean a good fighter would have a field day with somebody that just threw punches. You dont even have to time him. Even with the reach. b/c williams falls in whenever he throws that left str8...lol More gay avatars to come...If margarito even is in a meaningful fight. He is at the bottom of the 147 top 8 list for sure. Always was anyway...lol

Do the fans expect them to cry in the middle of a fight like Cintron?
Do the fans expect them to hit people low on purpose when they get buzzed or collect paper titles like Cotto?
I don't have any smart ass comments about Williams or Margarito.

A paper champ is someone who wins a title without beating a beltholder. While Margarito was a paper champ, Williams becomes a legit champ by beating a title holder. By your logic, if someone became the undisputed champion and then retired without losing, then every champion in that division from that point on could never become anything more than a paper champ.

What the fans expect is for them to come into the ring and do what they said they would do FIGHT. you wanna talk about cintron and cotto fine, but they both come to fight, win or lose. Mayweather was talking non-stop on that hbo exclusive about how brutally he was gonna beat ODH and how he was gonna teach him a lesson, etc. Even the biggest mayweather fan had to be disappointed with what e delievered in that fight. His own father thought he lost and said that all he did was throw one shot at a time and run. I mean come on Cotto is one of if not the most exciting fighters out he stands in there and fights and the fans appreciate it.

Anybody that believed floyd was going to go toe to toe with ODH deserves to have there ass kicked. Floyd said on less visible interviews that he is going to mix it up and he did. He stood dead in front of ODH and went toe to toe in spots. And got the better of it..lol Even Merchant gave him credit for standing his ground..get the fuck out of here. whores watch that fight with hater vision.

in one of the interviews before the fight, floyd was asked if he was going to pull another baldomir, and he said he'll punish odh. its true that he may have not been able to stand in front of odh and trade punches, but at least he could've boxed in a way that shows intentions of knocking odh out. it appeared from round 1 that all he wanted to do is to get a decision. what about all that talk of brutalizing odh?

DLH said he was in the best shape of his life, and would not gas out. He also said he would win the fight by KO, as did Freddy Roach. Both Margarito and Williams said the fight would not last 12. All fighters make predictions, sometimes they are wrong. The focus on PBF being wrong, in a Thread about Margarito's failure to deliver after all of the hype surrounding him, reeks of sour grapes. And is the behavior of a bitch.

Pimp, you're dumb. the majority of your post's are dumb. that's all :hi:
The only dumbass here is you. First you make about 100 threads under 3 different alliases touting Margo as the best WW in the world. Many posters including myself told you for the better part of a year that Margo wasn't the best. He was too flawed and you and others were over-hyping him since he hadn't done shit in his career to warrant the hype he was getting. You went on saying we didn't know what the hell we were talking about and Margo would proves us all wrong. Fast forward to before the Williams fight you said Margo would easily beat Williams and if he didn't you would leave ESB forvever! Guess what? Williams beat Margo at his own game he out-worked the limited Fraudarito and what most people knew all along about him turned out to be true he's very limted and not elite at 147 he was beaten clearly by Williams 8-4 and you come back to ESB making all kind of excuses for him and moral victory threads. You just don't know when to quit even people who sided with you in the past are abandoning you but you're to fucking blinded by Margo's balls to see it.:deal  :rofl  :rofl  Fuck off!:hi:
