Clottey is alot more physical, and rugged than Margo, and I'm not sure Williams could deal!!

i really think clottey is under appreciated and all and i like him alot but i think williams beats him and possibly everyone else in the division ( and no i am not one who jumped on the wagon i have been saying this all along, his size and style are tough to beat)

Clottey is a good counter puncher and would get Williams where Margo couldn't but he seems to wear down late in fights and Williams would take advantage of this and win by UD.

That's very possible. Clottey has shown that he does slow down late. This would be a good one, because I think Clottey could, and would get to Williams. He wouldn't be behind on the cards like Margo, and I think his physical, and rough style could shake Williams. He's very sharp puncher, and Williams would leave him plenty of openings! I can't give him the victory, but I can't go w/Williams just yet. It's fight I actually want to see happen next!

You're telling me that a guy with a massive reach and height advantage over a guy who's style is to stand there with a high guard, and let his opponent come to him makes for a great matchup?

Williams will have no problem boxing Clottey at a distance.

Considering Williams averaged over 100 punches a round and looked like a brand new man in the 12th and had had incredible movement, especially with his hook and turn, it's not like he's going to get tired.

Clottey will have to press the fight and try to push his way inside.

He might be successful with this initially, but it's more likely that you'll see him tenative, just like Margarito was, with his hands in the air blocking straight punches all night.

You may occasionally see Clottey get inside, but as soon as he does, Williams will tie him up or step back and keep him on the outside.

Shit, Margarito did this for the majority of the fight when he fought Clottey and Margarito is the type of guy that WANTS to fight on the inside.

You think the faster, rangier, better conditioned Williams won't be able to?

I'd rather see a more relentless pursuer like Cotto or a hard hitting big welter like Cintron than see Clottey get UD'd in a one sided fight.

This is just a terrible style matchup for Clottey and the fight would be boring.
