if alfonso posses a action style and marketable personality
jesse felciano has a equal action style and although he does not have quite the boxing style that gomez has, he has just as much heart that has made him a fair threat to his division.
they are 1/1/1 in three fights
i would love to see a fourth in a potential fight of the year:good

Gomez and Feliciano have a LONG way to go to be considered even on the level of Gatti and Ward.

"Uggggghhh" was my first reaction, followed by a fit of projectile vomiting. You should be a victim of either Mickey's left hook or his steamroller for making this cahmpahrison.

While I agree that neither Gomez nor Feliciano has shown himself to be a fighter near Gatti or Ward's level so far, all of Feliciano's last three fights have been great, and Gomez is none too boring either.

dont take offense,
they are deffinetely not there yet, but they look like they could be there if they keep fighting the way that they are fighting.

Slow down people. These guys are not taking over. You forget Ward had some fantastic wins and at one point a great run. Gatti himself is a champ at two weights.
Put it like this, Gomez is not going to be a titlist at 140 and 154 with wins over Ruelas, Leija, Dorin, Ward etc
