I think this is fishy. Imagine if someone pulled some strings and said forget this fight and you can get number1 ranking at 135. You'll be in a bigger fight in America. Especially given Khan will now be bypassed I assume! Works out well for Sports Networks. Khan can have another two fights now.
I wouldn't be suprised.

When your fighting a guy like guzman all that hieght/reach, silver medal and handspeed bollocks doesnt mean a darn thing khan will get smashed and this is coming from a guy whos neutral on khan

Khan by KO.
On himself to avoid fighting Guzman.
This has probably pissed on Amir Khans chips and peas, Guzman is a legit challenger though, Khan isnt ready for world level at all.

i wouldn't say smashed but guzman would be the favourite for sure.
i just hope ****** gives khan a couple of fights against opponents who will help him prepare for such a showdown.

How can it be fishy??? Guzman was World Champion for 2 years at super feather so deserves a high ranking if he moves up in weight. he is more deserving than there number 1 and 2 (Peterson and Khan)
Whats fishy is how ****** and Arthur did everything possilbe to stop the fight happening.

Arthur genuenly wanted to fight guzman even though it was going to be a shutout in guzmans favour arthur had alot of confidence in his abilities, the problem for arthur is he's going to have to fight valero or Gamboa very soon, both these guys are just as dangerious as guzman

There is always something fishy going on at the WBO, regardless of any involvement of Frank ******!
I can't believe the IBHOF recognise it as an elite belt. Chris Eubank and Oscar De La Hoya have an awful lot to answer for by popularising it!

He is not going to have to fight Valero as he is WBA champ, not a big name and can be easialy avoided.
Gamboa is so over hyped its unreal

I am sure Guzman will find a reason not to fight Khan. The guy is a coward and chickened out of a fight with Arthur. All the bullshit excuses he came up with to avoid Arthur were a joke, no doubt he will try the same thing now he is at lightweight. Hopefully ****** will be able to corner him and get Khan a decent fight.

has anyone made it past round two against Valero?
Is Gamboa ready for a title fight against a solid b-level fighter in Alex?
Valeros a good fighter, u obviously havent watched any of his fights a few have made it past the 1st if i remember right one guy even floored him, arthur has better boxing skills.
Gamboa would make arthur quit his belt and move up to lightwieght if he ever became mandatory if u'v seen the few fights gamboa has you'd know what kind of sensation he is.

I think Valero's a relatively decent name. Certainly the biggest of the bunch that are left at SFW.
Who else can he fight that's actually established and worthy?
Mitchell?
You say that as if ****** would put him in with someone established and Worthy.
Valero and Mitchell are the biggest 2 fights at the weight until the vacant WBC belt is won.
Gamboa is so over rated its unreal. He is 27 years old and should have been pro 5 years ago

yeh its true, beating gamboa would proove nothing other than gamboa being over hyped.
