Nothing special. It does talk about weight training without adding bulk. It was this or start a Pavlik VS Godzilla, Poll, Who Wins and Why thread. Seems like that was the only option missed yesterday.
And to be honest, I'd have to pick Godzilla in that one. Yes he is slow, plodding , comes forward in straight lines, and is pretty one dimensional as monsters go, but he would aways have the chance of landing that one vaporizing atomic lizard breath special move he has.......:yep

Come June 7th, people are going to realize once again why he's such a fun fighter to watch. He's probably going to kill Lockett. :good

The strength and stamina training is great but Kelly needs to work on speed and flexibility.
He's making himself too tight and stiff.
And he needs to put more swing in some of his punches. Not every shot needs to be perfectly straight.

This is just one of the work out sessions he does. They listed a few others. I think the article was a semi plug for this particular place.

I dunno, Godzilla has shit reach. Little stubby ass arms, but yeah depending on what the ref allows, Godzilla's dragon breath move is pretty much check mate.

Huh? I don't know how many times I've had to correct young fighters to throw a true straight right hand? Especially a tall fighter needs to throw that right hand straight, like a frozen rope. There is sometimes a need for a shorter fighter to throw a 'overhand" right, on a taller guy, but not in most cases. Your backwards on that one brother.

You underrate Godzilla's tail whip though...it's like the Sakio Bika forearm/Bernard Hopkins headbutt. It's an unbeatable dirty tactic.

The tail whip was evil back in the day, but Zilla's lost a lot of speed over the last few hundred years! He wouldn't touch pavlik with it:D

We thought the same thing with Hopkins yet he still managed to put Calzaghe on his ass.
Don't underrate that sneaky tailwhip.

Watch the end of this clip, and you'll see that godzilla ain't gonna touch the ghost with that moth eaten tail of his! Plus, I heard Kelly is plannin' on bringin' that freakin' hammer with him. Jack Leow is gonna distract the ref, and pavlik will smack zilla's ass with it!

Godzilla has been sparring with Jet Jaguar, Ultra Man, Godzuki and Gamera to prepare for Pavlik's power and has already corrected his previous mistakes. He's also shed about 1000 lbs to be in better shape.

if you want slow and plodding, you dont need godzilla for that. 95% of the current heavyweight roster, have exactly those same attributes.
So true brother -- so true!

GOOD!! He'll be weight drained and over-trained!

Or he'll be adequately preprared and in shape to go 12 rounds with an aggressive plodding fighter like Pavlik.
The only thing holding Godzilla back (other than a somewhat shaky chin) is his trainer Yoel Judah.

Look Pal -- Mothra established the pattern for neutralizing the tail whip. All he can do is plod forward breathing fire, and Pavlik has already had his skin replaced with asbestos!
Zilla is a shot monster. Here's proof!
