Is the guy in your top 3 HW list ? outside of it ? (top 5 or 10 maybe ? ) just curious...

The heavyweight division is tough to rank at this point, but I'd probably put him in the top 5. Top 10 for sure.

I mean you've got Fedor, who hasn't fought decent competition in forever, Couture who for all intents and purposes is retired, and Nog, who despite being UFC champ is no where near where he used to be. Then throw in Sylvia, who has two, big recent losses. Arvloski who hasn't done much of anything. Cro Cop fell out of the top 10, as far as I am concerned. Gonzaga looked like a sure top 5 heavyweight until Couture dismantled him. Vera looked great, until losing to Big Tim.

The division is a mess right now.

I suppose 2 or 3. Ill take Nog ahead of him because of Nogs win over Tim Sylvia in February which is much more impressive then Barnett beating Monson and Yoshida.

Top tier, but the situation with HW's not really fighting each other at the moment, a number is basically impossible.

#3 behind Fedor and Nog, only lost to elite guys, and one of them he couldn't beat if he tried a hundred times because his style is all wrong for him.

I'd back Josh to beat Couture, for sure.

I definitely rank Barnett in the top 5. Didn't he beat Nog when they fought? Or am I misremembering that?

Ok. Thanks for the info. I was thinking he won the rematch. Thanks for clarifying.

1. Fedor
2. Nogueira
3. Barnett
4. Couture
5. Arlovski
6. Werdum
7. Sylvia
8. Gonzaga
9. Crocop
10. Aleks

Herring, Kharitonov, Mir and Kongo are just out there. I'm honestly not sure about my post top 5 picks. It gets really hard after that.
