Lyoto Machida even more of a monster than I thought before, considering that fight link (Franklin had NO chance! Whoa!).
Check out his record, too: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Surprising. He's undefeated, but tested and proven against some real names in there. Judging by my original hypothesis and recent mounting evidence, honestly, I don't believe Tito Ortiz has much of a chance at all. His only path to victory would be to somehow get Machida to the ground, and work from there. And that would be a risky thing to do in it's own right.
I say Machida on a stoppage, maybe a decision. Probably a stoppage, though. A perfect fight to introduce "The Dragon" to fans across the world, IMO.

I was watching Tito vs Evans and Griffin and it seems like in the 1st round hes as good as the early 2000s Tito Ortiz. He comes out confident in his striking and has takedowns have more speed on them. To win this fight Titos going to have to come out QUICK and try to take away Machidas heart. If he thinks hes just going to shoot in from far out and take Machida dont it wont happen hes going to have to be willing to stand and trade with Machida and get him to the fence and close up that gap. Titos got pretty good clinch skills and im very confident hes stronger then Machida. So if he could get it to the fence get him down and bust him up with some elbows maybe even cut him open or atleast put Machida in one of his first tough moments as a fighter Tito Ortiz has a chance. But its probablly alot to ask for though sadly in Ortizs case. I wish Ortiz the best im on his side look he stood up to Dana White and wanted more money there bringing in 30 million dollars a show and the fighters arent being paid it. He said he went to Zuffa and they said Tito just be quiet and will give you extra money you start talking then others are going to be asking for more money. Why should Tito Ortiz be a former dominant world champ and have rock star pouplarity along with hsi brutal traning to go out and fight for crappy money compared to his status the same with others. Tito stands up to the UFC and of course Dana calls him a moron and a dumbass. Man I love the UFC but I would piss myself if Randy Couture continues to win in court then gets paid millions in a mega fight with Fedor while Tito goes to Elite XC and helps them improve numbers drasticually like Hulk Hogan going to WCW.

I think Tito-Machida is going to be a domination.
Either Machida can keep the fight standing and he outstrikes Ortiz in a boring karate match where Ortiz chases and chases and finds nothing, or Ortiz takes him down every round and beats him down pretty bad.
Tito's knees aren't what they were, so his shoots aren't as effective as they once were, but he can still put a real hurting on you even inside your guard.
