I thought he was a lot older than that as well. The guy really retired early.

He should come back on ESPN2... seems like they're in the habit now of getting old shot fighters on air only to see them brutalized and KOed.it's the great circle of boxing careers
start on espn, get on showtime, get on B.A.D. , get on hbo PPV....then back to ESPN again until abscurity kicks in. judha is in this phase to.

After Johnston's and Norwood's recent failures at attempted come-backs, he should really reconsider.

He wasn't that good in his prime. Vivian Harris had him doing the Judah dance in two rounds. He never had the chin or skill to be great.

He was a good fighter technically, very good offence and pretty good D.
But he just could not take a punch at the elite level. This is going to end in tears.

I guess I dont mind what hes doing now cause hes fighting guys with like 20 percent win records. I just dont wanna see anymore guys fighting midlevel fighters or above.

These guys really don't know when to quit and I think the state commissions should be upping the ante when it comes to licensing requirements. Testing should be as extensive as possible and discretion should be used more often. If the fighter wants to sue you let them take their best shot. The legal circuit isn't as dangerous as the professional fighting circuit. I'm all for making a living but you're not gonna make a living when you have brain damage.

How do you know he wasn't in his prime? He wasn't that old and it wasn't like he was in a lot of wars. He just couldn't take a punch.

Hurtado is fighting as a light middleweight . He could always be hurt to the body as he is tall and thin.
Pretty good fighter in his prime at 140 , quite a crowd pleasing style. He dropped Kostya Tszyu twice in the first round when they fought 10 years ago. He had a nice win over Randall Bailey 6 years ago, then got KO'ed by Vivian Harris . In the last 5 years he has fought 5 times against tomato cans... yeah he is past it.
