It has to be the Brits.
The American's don't quite understand how passionate Brits are about their teams or individuals.
I am a Leeds United fan - that is all there is to say.

I was sat next to a couple of Yanks at MSG for Lewis-Holyfield, their eyes were popping out of their heads at the songs, chants and the support Lewis was getting. It was quite funny to watch.....

Puerto Rican fans. The average puerto rican has the same boxing knowledge as some die heard fans from other countries. While I will admit that the british fans have a loyalty unmatched anywhere else, they seem to not know much else about the sport other than the guy that they are cheering for (I don't mean that directed to anyone here as non of you count as the average fan)
That's a bit of a stereo-type phillip! I was at the Calzaghe / Hopkins fight and the fans were amazing. When Tom Jones was singing the anthem I had chills going down my back. The queue at for the weigh in nearly went the whole way down the miracle mile shopping plaza and more Calzaghe fans kept coming to join the end of the queue. A few Hopkins fans showed but a lot left when they saw the size of the queue.
I was at Calzaghe / Kessler as well and the atmosphere is just something else. The fans were fantastic too, not an ounce of trouble. For me these are the greatest fans in the world but unless you experienced it yourself it's hard to understand exactly what kind of atmosphere they create.

Exactly.
How many genuine world class boxers have Germany produced in the past two decades.
Guys who have padded records, or the assistance of bent referees or judges do not count i'm afraid.
Can I just ask you one question mr german.....
What do you actually have to do to get a points victory in Germany as a foreigner?
I would ask Robin Reid but he would just stare blankly.

I have nothing against the British people or it's fans, but I'm going to call it as I see. Here in Stuttgart during the world cup in 2006, much of the problems that were here were from drunk loud british fans trying to fight other fans. They were more then rowdy, as they caused many problems here. Now, maybe it's different for british boxing fans, but In my own opinion, being loud and drunk singing doesn't top the list as it's best fans. But, on the same note, I will say, it's never going to be boring being around them..
As far as which country and figher has the best fans? In my opinion it's the puerto ricans. but also boxing is a very international sport, so i don't think many give a crap where the boxer is from, as much as we care about how appealing their style is to us.

British fans like to have a few pints and have a laugh, big deal.
It is only a small minority of football fans that cause the trouble, which is very sad I know.
I bet you wouldn't have seen 10000 Jeff Lacy fans coming over here for the Calzaghe fight, or fans of any other American for that matter.
Brits just love the occasion, and add to it whenever they are there, whilst Americans simply are not like that. A clash of cultures, that is all.
Denmark- Kessler of course !

First off, i'm not a Kraut, for I was born in North Carolina and merely only work here in Stuttgart. Second, Enzo Calzaghe is already 0-2 this year as a trainer, which I predict by the end of the year will be 0-4 if Joe " like 2 slap" Calzaghe fights. But the truth is, the U.K doesn't bring anything to the ballpark here. It may have great fighters on it's island but thats it. Across the pond an english champion is at best a good contender, thats it.

If you're referring to Rangers fans-
1. A lot of them have Irish heritage. Sectarian violence in the modern era in general is an import from Ireland, a bit like folk-fusion. The Irish are like the poisoned make-up in the first Batman film: a Proddie or a Tam isn't bad by themselves (I cite Dundee), but put them together and you get Glasgow.
2. Most Rangers fans just want to be English anyway. It's not as bad as the Celtic fans though, who want to be Irish.
3. A lot of Wegies are prats and have no right to call themselves Scottish. Again, it's the Irish influence.

or could the sectarian violence seen in scotland not be a product of immigration and rather a product of the violent policies towards catholics launched by the church of scotland, the SNP and the government itself?to ignore that these issues ignited sectarian hatred and is definatly the root cause in segregation in scotland rather than simply a displacement of irish problems to scotland.
fuck,if you want to be as ignorant as you are we can go back to the Ulster Plantation, or maybe the battles of the 18th and 19th century which pushed the catholics in ireland back against the wall and made them stand up and fight.

Brits/Mexicans, they turn out for their men. I also like it as loud as possible, you've got two guys knocking each others head off, its just bizarre when its quiet like in the US at times, and I'm convinced they fight in public libraries in Germany
