I'll take Cotto-Judah. Yeah, the low blows may have diminished it a little bit, and the last couple of rounds were a beat-down, but it was exciting as hell overall and a significant fight that saw a lot of warrior mentality from both fighters.
1.Pavlick vs Miranda
2.Vasquez vs Marquez

i go with cotto-judah also, it was an entertaining fight and had big names involved too, this adds to the atmosphere of the fight......the problem is i am a judah fan and was ringside to see my guy on the losing end

Marquez-Vasquez
Pavlik-Miranda is #2 for me.
Judah-Cotto got a lot of talk but I don't think it is a real contender.

Vasquez-Marquez
I honestly believe that if Vasquez's nose wasn't so smashed, he would've won. It was a hell of a fight.

Strange how many picked Pavlick-Miranda. It was an exciting fight when I saw it live; but after I rewatched it a couple of time, it became clear that it was not very competitive. Miranda threw a lot of punches, be he basically got dominated from the opening round. I liked the fight quite a bit, but that's primarily because I was waiting for Miranda to get exposed.

In retrospect, Darrell Woods vs Samuel Miller. Pavlik/Miranda, Vasquez/Marquez and Cotto/Judah were all good as well, but none of them had the drama of Woods/Miller.
I can't believe no one said Barrera vs Marquez. That is truly the fight of the year so far. It was important history-wise and legacy-wise for both of them. They fought a beautiful technical fight but still got into great exchanges. It was back and forth and very close. It had controversy (the 7th round stuff, the scoring). Just the overall feeling of the fight was great.. every punch they threw mattered and the fight was exciting all the way through.

Barrera-JMM had sustained action with great technique from two amazing pugilists, what can you ask for in terms of more?
I select this one.

I still haven't seen a better display of skill, power, and intensity than Marquez-Vazquez IMHO.

MAB vs JMM
this was a perfect display of boxing, technique, heart. everything. every round had hard clean punches and hard rounds to score. without a doubt best fight of the year.
Marquez vs Vazquez
Awesome fight until Vazquez quit. he was comin on and even dropped rafael and obviously was turning it up. the rematch wont let us down one bit IMO.
Cotto vs Judah
I would have never thought that Zab would show some maturity and take a beating like he did. awesome fight all the way through.

I'll pick Cotto-Judah. After the fight it's easy to say Judah was overmatched, but Cotto had shown vulnerability to punchers before. I think he showed a much improved defense. That fight had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
