Think this guy is a moderator on the Hatton forum and part of 'Team Hatton'
I was out last night on the drink and Sky plussed the fight. But I got about 30 text messages when I was out telling me the result. Gutted a bit as wanted to watching it when I got it in.
But soon as I heard I text Rick at about 11pm for the crack saying how much that news had just made my night.
He text back, word for word.........." I know pal, he got well and truly whupped, I'm just nipping off for a waank !! ha ha ha."
Classic Richard.

Cue faked protestations of disgust, shock and God knows what else from the usual suspects that Hatton used a naughty word in a private SMS.

"So much for him being a nice guy, what a nasty attitude he has, moreover he masturbates which is disgusting and immoral. This guy is leading our children astray, laughing at a fellow professionals misfortune and swearing...sickening behaviour from one of the worlds most depraved and possibly racist, neo nazi individuals..."
Something like that Gaz?:D

nah, nothing like that...no doubt Hatton was relieved Witter finally lost and so the clamour for them to fight would die down.
He found it satisfying, but nothing like as satisfying as some of us were when he got beat up and knocked out by a guy whose power he was mocking before the fight.
'I hope Floyd hits me harder than he hits them fooking pads'.

At least Witter get knocked Into a corner post with a basic counter left hook though or blamed the ref like him and his trainer.:yep
Plus Witter still made It a close fight unmotivated.:yep

Are you as dim as that post suggests?
Are you really comparing Hatton's performance against the P4P#1 to Witter's performance against Timothy whatshisname?

Witter's shit at maths too then.
He also said I'm not going to make excuses......like the referee and the judges. Which is making excuses and pointing accusing fingers, without going over the top. Personally, I agree with him, the judges were fucking awful, should have been 116 - 111 to Bradley.

The fact you use Floyd being a p4p fighter as an excuse to why he badly lost, suggests your badly dim.
If Hatton was as good as he decieves he would of put up a better fight than what he did no matter how good Floyd Is. There are better fighters than Floyd currently.
He had no head movement, he just plowed In being unable to mantain a workrate and was easily hit at will with no defence for anything at all.
Even Zab Judah was outboxing Floyd for the 1st four rounds until he mentally caved In.
I would like some respect for an opinion but some of you pro Hatton guys except some like Gaoc are not capable of that.
Witter was just unmotivated and didn't get away with It this time like he has done and still made it a close fight even though Bradley won fair and square. He didn't blame the ref for his lack of anything either.

Fighting the best P4P boxer in the world is a pretty good excuse for losing to be honest. There aren't better fighters out there than Floyd currently.
Whether people like it or not, Cortez effected the outcome of the fight. Even so, most people had Hatton level up until the point deduction.
For half the fight Hatton did have good head movement, then he lost his rag and just ran at Floyd.
'Even Zab Judah' is harsh, Judah would possibly be the best 6 round fighter in the world, it's not a shock he did well at the start and then faded.
I would like to respect your opinion, but you said the other day Hatton was aiming for a body shot when he got countered by Floyd. :nut
Put it this way, the Hatton that lost to Floyd would beat Bradley. The Witter that lost to Bradley would get shut out by Mayweather.

From where I was sitting, Hatton's pace had slowed, and where he was previously plodding in and tieing Mayweather up he was now getting timed with precision counters, as Mayweather had adjusted, and Hatton couldn't keep up the pace. Too many beers with the lads
He was always getting knocked out

It would of been a good excuse If Hatton had put up a better fight but he didn't win a single round except the 5th and that was because Floyd took a breather but was still avoiding the shots.
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Actually It looks like he tried a left hook recklessly lunging In and got countered by a superior left hook.
No one denies Witter would lose to Floyd too though.
Hatton would make an ugly fight with Bradley and could well lose, he's picked the right opponents to look better than he really Is. Maussa was even tagging him as well.

He nearly put ODLH on his arse with a perfect counter shot and Oscar has one of the best chins on boxing and is a LMW.
In the previous fight he was against Baldomir, who probably has the best chin in the WW division, so he was never going to hurt him.
And against Judah he was gonna stop him until Judah low blowed him.
So to KO a JWW at WW in the circumstances of Hatton losing his rag and chasing the fight, it wasn't that shocking.

Baldomir, who probably has the best chin in the WW division,
Surely this is Margo.
Erm, it was pretty shocking for Hatton to get knocked out, not many were predicting it. Mayweather isn't a big puncher at all, not at welterweight
I guess the warning signs were there against Collazo, he nearly got decked by a featherfist in welterweight terms

probably......
Ricky got beat up. He got smoked unlike any of his other recent opponents. Even Gatti stayed on his feet through rounds of abuse.
Only Hatton got decked and KTFO....deal with it.

Think it's quite close.
Baldomir taking big shots from Forrest without budging gives him the edge for me.

You've said it yourself twice - Welterweight
He's clearly less effective there
I would have to agree though I was shocked to see Hatton get KO'ed by Floyd. Though I do believe Floyd has grown into 147, and with his precision, he carries more than decent pop.

Even you can understand the point, surely?
Mayweather not knocking out a LMW with a great chin, a WW who went on to move up to LMW with an iron chin and a low blowing Judah wasn't a shock and not a slight on Floyd's power......
Gatti stood taking punishment....Hatton walked on to a counter he never saw, that's the difference.

You've just quoted three examples of Mayweather not knocking people out.
So to KO a JWW at WW in the circumstances of Hatton losing his rag and chasing the fight, it wasn't that shocking.
It's probably worth pointing out that Mayweather started out a jnr lightweight, he's not some gargantuan monster that could be expected to club Hatton to death.

Obviously
But what the Hatton fans fail to realise is that Mayweather is not a real welterweight, when they make these excuses. Hatton walks around at about 180 minimum, Mayweather started off at superfeather for fucks sake!
He got KO'd because he was reckless, has a bad defence, and his stamina is getting worse by the pint

I don't think 2 fights is enough to be able to form such a solid view. How many fighters go from being a supposed beast to being so average in their first jump in weight.
Maybe Collazo is just better than pretty much everyone Hatton fought? And we saw Collazo's level in his loss to a true elite fighter in Mosley. He's average, but still better than almost all of Hatton's previous opponents. Though to be fair he hurt his hand against Mosley so that can't have helped.

I quoted Floyd's last three fights and explained why he wouldn't have KO'd them. I don't think there's a WW out there that would KO ODLH, Judah and Margarito.....one out of three maybe, not more than that. I think Mayweather would have stopped Judah without the low blow.
Mayweather still carries 147 better than Hatton and has good pop there. As I said, at 154 he came very close to dropping ODLH.

Well, I think Floyd IS a 'real' welterweight now. His body has grown and matured into the higher weights, whereas someone like Ricky hasn't.
And it's fair to say Hatton's walk around weight is not representative of anything, really.
But the last sentence I agree with wholeheartedly

I can't see how Witter wasn't motivated, okay his opponents were changed but that has happened to countless champions.
So if Witter wasn't motivated by fighting Bradley, wouldn't holding onto your WBC belt and bigger paydays motivate you? At this point in Witters career he needed to perform in every fight, and against Bradley he talked a good fight and failed to deliver. Bradley won in every department, the fight wasn't as close the judges called it.
