get off the crack pipe...floyd has generated 350,000, 440,000, 325,000 and 2.15 million in two years barrera can't even come close. if you take all of barrera's and cotto's ppvs over the past two years and combined them they would still fall short of floyds earnings.:smoke

guys like cotto and barrera aint about money, they wanna fight the best, they pick risk over reward, they are warriors

So his PPV #s went from 440,000 to 2.15 million and he generated that? Might want to look at the guy across the ring.

200 to 250 is a good number. Especially when facing a guy coming off two losses and an NC!

Is his first real ppv let him have another chance, and you will see a lot of people don't buy the ppv because dosen't know cotto stile in a few fights you will see, showing around 500,000ppv, someting that Floyd will never achieve if not for DLH.

Hell even the 440,000 was probably due to Gatti right?

The reason it was so low. Because of PBF boring ass style the week before.
pbf vs delahoya had everyone pissed at $60 a pop.
wait till his next fight so you can really tell. I know it was because of the sissy mayweather running the week before. I didn't order becuase I just dished out $60. I said I'll catch it for free on Saturday on hbo. but the very next day I saw it youtube. i know I should of known better.
god fuck floyd and hoya... i swear that fight made A LOT of people not want to buy another boxing match.

Cotto and Judah will mean twice as much to the fans as Floyd does, hes made it clear all he cares about is money so fuck him, reitre and fuck off like the cunt that you are. This fight represented what we all love in boxing unlike any Gayfeather fight ive seen.

Of course, people seem to forget the entire crowd was pro Gatti. Mayweather ass kissers need to open their eyes, Gatti was the big draw that night.:good

Regardless of the Low PPV numbers, it is still candidate for fight of the year. What good is having record breaking ppv#'s (Floyd/Oscar), when in the end alot of people felt cheated? Cotto/Judah > Floyd/Oscar:deal
ummmm $200mil revenue....

What he said.
Who gives a fuck about PPV numbers?
we do since some many are making a big deal that Cotto is a bigger draw than PBF

you dont think fighting 5weight divisions abouve your natural in a small ring with punchers gloves with a living legend who looked sensational in his last fight is a risk
plus isnt barrera the 1 who wanted a easy fight instead of a jmm rematch
cotto fights the best ?
didnt his last opponent have 0 wins in his 3 previous fights

Regardless. It was still a 100000x better fight than Oscar/Floyd!
You think Bigtime cares about that? All he cares about is Floyd. Bigtime gets a hard on over the money another man makes. Sad. Or maybe Bigtime isn't a male, that would explain a lot

Wow. So now it's PBF's fault that Cotto's PPV did poorly? Bullsh@#.
It is now established beyond a shadow of a doubt that PBF is a bigger draw than Cotto. He did more with Judah than Cotto. Hell he did more with Baldomir than Cotto. So, even the haters who say it was because of DLH and Gatti (incidently, DLH did better #'s with PBF than he did with anyone else. And Gatti's fight with Baldimir was not even on PPV. Neither is Castillo vs. Hatton) that PBF did big PPV #'s in his fights with them have to acknowledge PBF is a strong PPV draw.

Cotto is not a bigger draw because you say so, and your one PPV won't stop PBF from doing big PPV numbers.

Well, seeing as Zab was 0 - 2, 1 no contest going in . . . its not suprising.

Floyd did not get all those ppv buys himself it was Oscars name that sold the ppv buys. Not to many people care for Floyd and its not of because his talents but his character. But Cotto will eventually but selling alot of ppv especially because his willingness to fight the best out there and learning the english language is a plus.

floyd is a full grown welter, he might have started out at super feather but that does not mean he is still a natural super feather, oscar started at the same weight division, so i dont see the problem do you??
and anyways going up 5 weight divisions to fight oscar isn't a risk, its like winning the lotter 10 times over, i'm sure even ivan calderon would tr come up to super middleweight if he had a chance to fight oscar.
