View Full Version : Wladimir Sidorenko vs. Kratingdaenggym, Cordoba, Agbeko - Were the decisions fair?
Sidorenko is 2-0-2 against Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym, King Kong Agbeko, and Ricardo Cordoba - three tremendous fighters. My question for those who've seen some or all of these fights is were the decisions warranted or were they the product of a hometown decision?
The first fight with Cordoba was close but Sidorenko should have won it
In the second Cordoba fight Sidorenko was robbed.
I can't remember details from the other fight's

Sidrenko beat Poonsawat fairly. He beat Cordoba fairly 1st fight. He was lucky to win the 2nd and he was lucky as hell to beat Agbeko. There is one more very close fight on his record, a very very narriw win over Julio Zarate which I had Sidorenko winning - only just.

I think that only the 2nd fight vs. Cordoba was to close to call so the draw was ok to me. The rest of the fights he won fair and square...

Sidorenko has fought and beaten boxers with almost every type of style. Although he is not a very hard hitter he is excellent at “reading" an opponent and seems able to outbox the fighters and outfight the boxers.

Agbeko vs Sidorenko was a great and entertaining fight which could have really gone either way.A draw would have been fair to both fighters and their courageous show of boxing.
Sidorenko 's first encounter with Cordoba was a pretty close fight,too.But...Sidorenko did probably enough to win it. It would have been unfair if Corodob had won their first encounter.I wouldnt argue the toss with someone who had it a draw, but I wouldnt agree with someone who had Cordona ahead on points after 12 rounds.I for my part had Sidorenko ahead.
The outcome of their second encounter was a joke. Sidorenko won most of the rounds quite easily and should have won a wide point decision.
I have no idea how the hell those judges were able to score that one-sided fight a draw.

Sidorenko beat Poonswat and Cordoba the first time (never saw the rematch). The fight with Agbeko was a complete robbery though, Agbeko won clearly 8-4 or 9-3.

I quite disagree with you, valdosta! Agbeko vs Sidorenko was a close fight which could have gone either way.No robbery in open daylight at all!!
