I cant remember the name of a British fighter who fought at cruiser or light heavy a couple of years ago. He was truly fun to watch due to his funny style and his showboating in the ring. Not really sure anymore but his first name was something like Damian or Darien. He was a really crazy fellow looking like one of those textbook hell angels.Anyone here knows his real name and what has happened to him since he retired from the pro game??
Thanks for your help,guys! I appreciate it!:thumbsup

Thanks for your help, guys! I appreciate it!:thumbsupDarren Corbett- one of the best punchers your likely to see domestically... his upset of Chris Okoh is one of the finest underdog performances you'll ever see. Good fighter- now retired.

Does the odd shift as a bouncer at a hotel nightclub, just around the corner from my mum's house.

Spoke to him not long ago; seems happy enough, no regrets.

Oh yeah, with the crazy knee-shuffle across the ring apron at the end.

That was a crackin scalp for Darren.

That was a crackin scalp for Darren. lol It was! The Roberto Dominguez win was a good one too. Corbett was most effective at cruiser once he got to light heavy he was too slow. He was very entertaining and was going to fight Eubank at one stage.

Might be good for a few fights. If he has got himself in shape he will be a dangerous customer. Hope he isn't just doing it for the money...but he probably is.

Actually, I don't know whether I am happy or sad with this unexpected news.:think

That info is correct too , Corbett is making a comeback .

Maybe not the best of ideas considering his best days were over 10 years ago but if it's what he wants then the best of luck to him .

Cruiser comeback would be of interest to me- also who is he coached by now? John Breen would be a good gym to train at especially with 'the legend' Rogan being of similer age.

Thanks for your info,jeff!

It wasnt Corbett! The guy's name was Damon,Darien,Damian,or something like this.As far as I know he has retired from boxing many years ago.
I may be wrong of course.

He was a crazy fellow and pure fun to watch inside the ring. He could punch, but didnt stick to any game plan for longer than 30 seconds.
He looked like a member of the Hell Angels.
