They both aren't considered as a P4P fighters so they are at pretty similar level.
Who would win?

i really like to see this both men have never ever dodged or gone the easy route and both have limited talent but good set of skills...i would pay

gomez, his workrate would outdo baldi, plus i think baldi tires easily later on, gomez by UD, would like to see it though!

This would be an interesting fight. I'll have to hold off on my prediction until I see Baldo versus Vernon Forrest.

Baldomir has a quicker gun than Gomez and that would be the difference in a good scrap...

I think Baldo's experience gets him a wide decision win here, but this is indeed more reasonable.

Maybe this match will happen after Forrest dismantles Baldo.

The fight I care more about after the almost certain outcome you mentioned is Vernon manning up and offering Ike a rematch. Or Shane for that matter.

My feeling exactly. Both these guys are quite limited, and neither would have beaten Gatti at his peak, but when you're pitting to ordinary journeymen against one another, all things being equal, I'll go with the younger guy.:yep
