Anyone else worried about Calzaghe's dodgy hands?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm seriously thinking about getting some tickets, especially with them selling so quickly. But I'm worried in case China hand Joe fucks his hand up in training and it's postponed. I stay in Glasgow so it's hotel rooms,flights/trains involved as well.
Desperate to go coz it's one we've all been waiting for, but keep getting visions of it being cancelled and going down to watch Williams vs Skelton 3 or something replacing it:yikes .
Should I risk it?

It'll be worth it if it comes off which it more than likel will. Plus if the fight is called off, you have an option to get your fight ticket money back, and u prob could cancel your hotel room/ flights and the rest and hopefully not lose to much.

Yes.
It'll be an incredible night anyway. Calzaghe/Kessler will be the icing on the cake. Not many people can claim to have attended a night of boxing with 70,000 people.
also, what's JC got left? Three fights absolute tops. see him while you can.

Go for it I say. You can't base decisions on intangibles anyway. If Joe postpones the fight due to dodgy hands there's nothing anyone can do anyway.

his hands are always a worry.
i wouldn't purchase tickets on this one until the last minute.
i doubt ****** would pull the card even if jc pulled out knowing ******.

If Calzaghe pulls out the card will still definitely go ahead, you know there's no chance in hell he's going to give 70,000 refunds.
But I reckon it's worth the risk, worst comes to the worst it's still a piss up in Cardiff.

What's wrong with shelling out a small fortune to watch Williams v Skelton 3? :D

I thought that if the main event was cancelled the promoter always offered a refund to those who no longer want to attend the show:huh

Well the last time I had a ticket was for the Harrison/Guzman fight and he tried to replace it with Danny Williams until that fell through, then cancelled the card. But I wasn't getting a refund until he cancelled the card.

Thanks for that.
In that case I won't be buying a ticket. If there's still any left once all sparring has finished I might change my mind. I'm not about to let that cunt ****** rip me off.

Joe will be fine (I think); I think he wins too, in close, perhaps controversial fashion by SD 12. Y'all?

Yeah – I understand your concern. I don’t think that these hands can do much damage on Kessler’s hard robotic body. Don’t go – unless you have the nerve seeing Joe taking a beating. :bbb

I think you've misunderstood my concerns. It's gonna be a big win for Calzaghe, a clear emphatic one at that;)

I had a dream last night that Calzaghe took a warm up fight before Kessler against some Italian dude and he got sparked out i the 2nd round!! Fucking horrid dream. It was fucking weird. Amir Khan came into the ring with Calzaghe lying there like Jones after Tarver 2, and the cunt shook the Italian's hand. Then he went over to Calzaghe and said something like "unlucky man, but you were always a bit shit". WTF??
More of a nightmare methinks

No – I honestly just think that you might have some extraordinary skills regarding fortune telling.
Maybe it simply just means that a lot of people including Joe himself take the Kessler fight too easy just like a warm up match. The same thing happened in the Apollo Creed versus Ivan Drago fight. A lot of parallels will be drawn to that fight late night Nov. 3rd, I think. That’s just scary man. :deal :scaredas:
Amir Khan is Kesslers alter ego in your dream by the way – representing youth and the new upcoming fighter that takes over after Joe. It becomes weirder and weirder the more I think about it.

Whats the Millenium like for getting a bevvy before and during the boxing? Never been to a fight there so no idea what the set up is. Cheers.

no problem. best to warn you before hand because loads of peole were buying like 4 pints at once, walking towards the arena doors and being told you cant take drinks in and they had to leave them.:-(
Haha, that sounds like the sort of thing me and the lad im going with would do, then having to down them and being asleep by the time the main event starts so cheers for the warning.
