The main supporting bout for the Fenech undercard will be a non title 10 rounder involving William Kickett vs Gairy St Clair.

Just got off the phone with Craig Christian, & he told me to inform everyone that it is sealed & done.

The Gairy St Clair that i have seen recently seems to have aged quite alot & i expect Kickett to dominate.
Great domestic fight for Fenech's card.

I guess Fenech puts on a better undercard than Choc too.:yep

Gairy is done, but it's a good fight for Cool Willie. I don't see him stopping him though, Khan couldn't.

This will be great fight IMO for Willie to not only be in there against someone so experienced, but to also use as a measuring stick within the division, particularly against Khan. His competition so far has been good for an Australian fighter. He is taking on tough opponents, not just picking off cans, then trying to make a massive jump up in class.

If it stays together, it's a much better card then Anthony's ever put on, but that's not a big call really, is it??!

Time for Cool WIllie to beat a former world champ.

Go Willie!!

St Clair is still rated fairly high globally, albeit not as high as willie in most cases.

Realistically, he should be rated higher then Willie though. Beating Tommy Browne shouldn't put Willie above St Claire. That being said, I'm tipping him on points.

Yup, I'm of the same opinion that St Clair is done. Stick a fork in him.

I was in the opposing corner for his last fight against Paderna and he looked slower and was getting hit with punches that he normally evades with ease. He did tell me after the fight that he is a 12 rd fighter and was only warming up.

I didn't see the Khan fight but a few local lads from the UK tell me that Amir was very patient and fought like he wanted to get the rds under his belt.

They have really picked there mark with Gairy as a step up opponent for Willy. A good name and at this stage St Clair is like a low hanging apple.

Comfortable win for Willy.

Great post.
I was very disapointed with Gairy in the Paderna fight.
Maybe due to lack of motivation...i dont know.
If he starts & acts that slow in any rounds with Cool Willy, he could very well be stopped.

Gary is tough and has been in the ring with some of the best punches around and always taken the fight to the score cards however Kickett should beat him with speed and a wide points win.

Well, I actually gave Gairy every benefit of the doubt and factored in that he probably wasn't up for the fight as it came on the back of the Khan fight, and it was only a 6 rounder.

But he looked awful for the first few rds and admittedly he did finish better and got his stuff together. But honestly, he's got the look of a fighter whose on the downslope. And yep, Willy could stop him. I know in the filipino camp (and Willy knows these guys too lol) although not a power puncher, his right hand buckles guys when it lands sweet.

Interestingly, Gairy was telling me that little Paderna hits a damn lot harder than Khan. I know Amir is more noted for his speed and accuracy though. He wasn't real complimentary of Khan but alot of fighters don't have good things to say about guys who shut them out.

Yeah agree with everything here.

Would have been hard to get up mentally for St Clair after his recent Khan defeat which may have influenced, but i'll go with Willy's power and youth on this one.
Little Paderna winds up alright, just way too slow.

Looking forward to this one, will be interesting to see how Kickett handles it.

Is Willie the great Saviour of the Aussie ESB Forum?

It seems as though everyone except "sand in my vagina" Hurrcn is going for him.

Coooool Willie Kickett :happy:happy
