View Full Version : Has Sartison Got Any Chance?

Guys surely Sartison cannot compete on the level Kessler is currently at or do any of you that have seen him think he can.

I must confess to not having seen more than a few snippets of him and whilst he is decent, I believe Kessler is the best Super-Middle in the world now Calzaghe has moved up.

Does anyone give Sartison a chance here?

Yes! A butterfly's chance in hell-fire.

Sartison's best chance is that Kessler is damaged goods - but there is little to no evidence of that. Kessler seems on top of things and has gotten outside inspiration by Montoya. In boxing there is always the KO-chance - and Sartison carries ok power - so the chance is there but it's very very small.

There is a little bit on Sartison in this thread:

Unless Sartison is an unusual talent that can improve over night or Kessler changed personality and starts show-boating, there is nothing that tells he is any serious threat to Kessler.

I ve seen some of his fights, micky. To tell you the truth I cant really see him beat the present version of Kessler.
Up to his last outing to a ring Sartison hadnt impressed me a lot. His last fight against that tough Argie who had gone the full route with Mundine in his previous fight did change my opinion a little bit. He showed a bloody convincing performance against a tough fighter outclassing him giving him a lesson in boxing.
I still think that he is the huge underdog against the Dane, but he is an undefeated young fighter who may upset the Kessler's apple cart in Denmark.
Kessler shouldnt take him lightly. This fight hasnt been won yet. Sartison may turn out to be a tough nut to crake.

If Kessler has not taken him lightly he should win comfortably on points or late stoppage.

He likely hasn't. Reports out of his training camp at BigBear looks as if Kessler's back meaning business. His sparring back in Copenhagen are great. I fully expect a peak Kessler in this fight if he avoids training injuries (hands (Calzaghe fight) or back (Mundine).

I haven't seen sartison I must admit, but judging solely on his record he should have NO CHANCE at upsetting Kessler.

Sartison is acctually very dangerus, and I don't think Kessler take this fight easy. Still Kessler should kill this guy.

Sartison may turn out to be a tough nut to crake. The argie had 6 week to prepare for the mundine fight, and Sartson fight was on short notice, Look I have seen 2 fights of Sartison and what I see He has no chance in hell of beating Kessler.

After having watched Sartison I now think the only thing that can really hurt Kessler is Sartisons wild right-hand swing punch. Sartison is too open for his own good, so unless Sartison is very very fast, Kessler should be able to produce a KO within 5-6 rounds.

one thing that points to sartison having no chance is the way his promotion company is behaving.

sartison is with universum.............who have so much money that they could have gotten this fight to germany if they wanted.

but for some reason, they dont.

personally i think that they have little faith in this guy and dont wanna invest in him.
after all, i have seen him beat limited gusmyl perdomo..............and he just squeeked by. perdomo even hurt him once pretty bad.

that, is not a good sign.

having said that, i think kessler is getting overrated.

but still, kessler should win this.

its boxing and a lot of things can happen, but tomorow they wont! kessler knows he can forget all about big moneyfights if he looses and i have never seen him so hungry prior to a fight, so i cant imagine the upset. but we will see saturday night wether or not he will deliver!
im watching it on tv with a bunch of friends and a lot of cold beer so im looking forward:party

The mail I've got from some people close to this one is that Sartison can whack but is chinny.

Does anyone know what time this is expected to start? I'll have to get up early for it. Thanks in advance.
