It's really strange to watch this again , it's not as shocking as the first time , several months have passed and well...there's not much you can do about it.

But it's still fucking...odd. Even Randleman's win wasn't that shocking. Gonzaga's win is ironically via HK...After what both couture & Werdum did to him...after seeing Herring win against Kongo too...Crocop's ufc adventure was a total reversed situation of his pride domination.

His sparring partner could do it (werdum) , his past opponent did it (herring) , but he was rendered incapable over there. And it's not even about "superior competiton" either...( It's not like Barnett , Fedor , Nogueira , Aleks , wandy were all utter shits right? )

Gonzagas a good fighter his fight with Cro Cop showed his abilties. How many guys can caught a Cro Cop bodykick to take him down then hit him with 3-4 sharp elbows then kick his head completly off while also being a top level BJJ practicner ? Gonzaga just seems weak mentally he did well vs Couture until the cut and his heart got sucked away same thing vs Wedrum I thought he won the 1st round but then the moments of adversity showed up and he choked.
