I heard Vitors got a fight at 185 as well.
That's a disgustingly good card. I would almost pass on a threesome with two models to watch it.

It aint that good almost every fight is easy pickings.
This is THE BEST card in MMA history. Period.
really? where is Pedro ranked in the top 10 heavies these days, who is Paul buantello's biggest win against? Sobral, Whitehead and Lindlend are all UFC castaway's, Fedor vs Tim should be a great fight and the AA -Rothwell fight as well....even though Roswell has been in the IFL lately and has been almost untested as of late. I think Fedor -AA is the biggest possible fight that can be made.

The biggest  If you stick Couture vs Fedor with the rest of this Affliction card then right then thats a million buys on PPV. AA-Fedor gets about 300,000. Difference between best and biggest fights ala Cotto-Mayweather vs Mayweather-DLH :good

Five of the top 10 heavies on one hard... I say thats pretty fucking badass, especially with UFC heavyweight roster has died down.

They've fought in the UFC in the past, and are still good anough to compete with the UFC's best (Sobral) or beat them (Lindland) - call them 'castaways' if you like but I think thats needlessly disparaging.

Name a better card then that UFC had. I can't think of one. I love heavies, and for me this card is just absolutely the best right now.

It's a good card especially for a debut.

Well thats a bit much.
Main event is competitive and relevant, most of the others are not.

This is a great heavyweight card. The main event is awesome. But on the whole it's kind of easy pickings. I will certainly buy this.
They better hope this event doesn't bury them too bad, they have a huge payroll and don't forget the emelienko bros arn't house hold names in North America. Besides mma web sites i wouldn't even known this event is taking place. They still have time to promote it but I'd be surprised if they get big ppv buys. Apperently payroll alone os over 3 mill....I'm sure Fedor has a big chunk of that. It's a very good card it will be interesting to see the final numbers.

This is such a great projected line-up. I hope all of these matches truly come to pass.

With Donald Trump throwing his support behind it, I don't think money or advertising is going to be a problem in the near future. This card may lose some cash, as will the next few, most likely. But with that kind of backing, they should be making some green pretty soon.

Calvin Ayre was billionaire and Bodog still failed epicly. At this point it's been shown that it's not about how much you have, it's about establishing a plan that will gaurantee profitability. The UFC is the only American organization to do that, and thus while the IFL, Bodog, M-1, HFC, WFA, Battleship, etc have all failed, the UFC suceeds. Same thing in Japan. Pride had massive cash flow backing, but they could not be profitable, and while K-1 put on freak shows they made the bank and in the end survived. Donald is a businessman, he is doing this to make money, and don't think for a second that if things look kind of ugly at the start he won't put away his wallet and walk away if no immediate signals indicate a fast turn around on his investment.
