I dont know what it is, but I am having trouble settling into my mouthpiece. I end up by the end of the round having huge piles of drool waiting to leave my mouth....is there something I am missing? perhaps boil the mouthpeice to make it fit my teeth? anyone else experience this?

I have the softer Brainpad ones and they fit perfect. I can't stand the harder ones.

chop the ends of if its making you gag. Put the sheid in a cup of boiling water untill its soft. The trick its keep pressing untill its tight. If stays in place with your mouth open your there.

Wouldn't it help to atleast know what kind it is? For starters I haven't seen one other then made by a dentist that didn't require boiling and setting, and they usually come with the instructions as to how to do it, and or how to trim.

And if any of yas use a shock doctor, don't buy their expensive one. Multi-colored. It has hard plastic that runs down towards the back of it and will dig into your cheek, and if you get smashed, you're getting opened up on the inside. They have a cheap one, black in color, with less of this and better suited for boxing. Ultimately, you are best off with one from your dentist, but it isn't cost effective for everyone.
