He beat Micky Ward

so did alot of people - Zab had more speed and power plus better boxing skills anyway

He's giving us ample opportunity to see him on free television. I can't really complain--can you?

Both Peterson brothers are scheduled to fight that night too. Great FNF lineup!

He's not doing it, he cannot get on any other network. Which premium channel is gonna pay him to fight LOL. He's a complete joke.

zab judah can be on ppv if he wants, trust me if Briggs Vs Mercer or Jirov Vs Craven is ppv, zab could make ppv

There are a lot of shit fights on PPV and I am sure Judah would draw a few fans to pay for it. However, I am just a boxing fan, whether its PPV, frre to air or in the backyard, I love watching it!!!

:good My sentiments exactly. For whatever reason he ends up on Espn, it's cool that a "name'' boxer is fighting on free tv and not trying to nickel and dime the public with ppv only events.

I'm not going to knock the guy for staying busy - and doing so on a venue boxing fans can readily see him on.

Stays visible + stays active= STAYS RELEVANT.

Good on him.

Exactly. At least he isn't being like half of the name fighters out there and just sitting on his ass waiting for an HBO date......

It's funny, people complain that guys only fight 2 or 3 times a year (because of $$$$), but then when a guy does an ESPN date or something just to stay busy, they poke fun at him, like reaching 75 million homes is a bad thing......lol

I hope it's against someone who is breathing.

Likely opponent is Mike "No Joke" Stewart, who is on his downside, but is a live opponent, not a bad fight at all if it happens.

I never liked Judah until he put a really gutsy fight with Cotto! I have respect for him now. I wish him good luck.

Good point. Props to Judah, now I can actually watch him on a real TV instead of *******. :good

you know i gained respect for zab after the cotto fight, he didn't quit, he kept coming and coming and he didn't resort to anything illegal.

Interesting that both Judah and Malagnaggi got the respect after being pounded by Cotto.

He is this generations version of Oba Carr, he will lose to every major fighter in the division, but he is good enough to beat the bums in the division. Kosta, Spinks, Baldo, Mayweather, Cotto all have that name on the resume. Spinks did lose though in the follow up.

Very good observation. He really does remind me of Oba Carr now that you mention it.

hatton should fight clottey, clottey will show him what a real welterweight with decent power can do.

Good for Judah for coming back quickly from a loss and for staying in the public eye by fighting on ESPN. He should not be getting criticized for this at all. Other fighters would do themselves a lot of good by doing the same thing.

Judah should go back down to 140 and be a champ..he can beat all of those guys down there with no real problem...Maybe fight D hopkins...Not holt..lol..witter again...or V harris..Or castillo..lol..that should be his opponent..Or if he stays at 147 he should fight margarito the winner gets to get back in the mix..

Judah is a cut above Oba Carr. Carr never had a good win of any import.

Not a bad schedule for ESPN. Bell/Azille should be a good bang-up while it lasts. Pascal/Echols is an interesting "changing of the guard" type fight. Terry Smith looked very good against Kel Davis and should beat up Rob Calloway.

I highly disagree, Clottey can't deal with a good mover and his power is very mediocre, 2 steps below Cotto in my opinion.

Judah would shut him out, maybe stop him with a straight left.
