This seems to be what will be looked at between rounds if there is something in question. This is currently only in Japan - but if it works there I am sure it will eventually make its way over here

1. If a cut was caused by a legal punch.
2. To determine a knockdown or a slip.
3. A punch that occurred prior or after a bell.
4. To determine if an illegal blow was caused accidentally or intentionally.
5. To determine if a fighter beat a count.

Is this a step forward or a step back?

It's a great idea to see if cuts are caused by headbutts or punches. For determining if there's a long count, It's a terrible idea because many fighters (such as Douglas vs. Tyson) get dropped but jst get up at the refs count of nine to get more rest.

Great idea for determining if a fight ending cut is caused by a headbutt, but would be a major step back if it's used for other purposes.

I kind of like the idea.

And i dont think they would stop the action there Julian Jackson. They can have a seperate person reviewing the video while the fight is going or in between rounds.

dislike...stamina's a key part in boxing and if theyre takin timeouts every second it'll ruin it. I can see for cuts if theyre caused by a butt or a punch but thats it

If they just used it to check for cuts between rounds thats fine. Other than that I don't think it should be used.

as long as it's between rounds, it's good

I can already imagine this being abused if it isn't confined to the headbutts.

It own't stop the fight, it will take place between rounds, not by the ref

Seems like the WBC always has these very detailed rules for their bouts like when they implicated the rule that if a accidental headbutt occurs a point is taken to the fighter who was'nt cut, that was implicated in the De La Hoya/Whitaker fight.

it is coming from the We Be Crooks organization. nothing coming from sulaiman is good for boxing

The first two are absolutely vital...and if they get it right with those two, I'm all for this.

4. You looked very angry when you threw the low blow so now I am deducting a point.

5. Based on replay it took you longer then the count of 10 to get up even though you were totally aware of the ref's count and got up at 9. So you lost by KO.

It's a great step towards improving the way boxing matches are judged. Hopefully they do it in a reasonable way and more commissions start using it.

Great move, and again i must agree that it must be done within that 1 minute span in between rounds!

Instant re-play is great for any sport because what we all want is the truth and the camera never lies.

How can anyone be for this? You're all into an exciting fight and then suddenly.... STOP THE ACTION! We have to go to replay for review.. 3 minutes later..

Please.. for the love of everything that is good.. do not bring instant replay into boxing.. just bring in competent refs

I agree, leave this reply for football!

well if the review is done in between rounds to determine if a cut was a headbutt or a punch, or if a fall was a slip or a KD, then i don't see how it interferes with the action.

How can anyone of you dislike this?

This will clear up controversies and give justice to all fighters.

Don't be stupid . . . of course they won't stop the action in the 3 mins round.

4 and 5 will make more controversy than there already is.

Can you imagine the confusion on the 10 count now.

I like it but for points 4 & 5
