Will this fight ever happen? and do you think the Australian public wants to see it?

I don't think it'll happen. the boat has come and gone for it to be a somewhat anticipated match up.

It'd be about as relevant as an Ottke rematch now.

I think the question is will Mundine ever fight a real fighter?

i thought mundine retired...

I thought they locked you back up...

do they have weekend release at your local mental institution? :nut

Hadn't heard much after his loss to Branco Brosmovich...

Boxrec has Siaca's last few fights at light heavy so I doubt he and Choc will be fighting anytime soon.

what on earth possesed you to come up with a thread of such irrelevance!

irrelevance? why do you say that? he has always said he wants a rematch with Siaca. Siaca pulled out of their scheduled rematch in Newcastle and we never did hear of this again. he could sell this fight easily! i think the boxing public wants to see it.

irrelevant as much as siaca moved up to light heavy weight, irrelevant so much as his retired, irrelevant to the point that mindines moving to middle weight and even more irrelevant is that nobody except yourself gives a damn about mundine fighting a rematch with siaca.

i think your out of touch buddy!

RIP Goldsteve

Who said Manny Siaca has retired? he had a fight 2 weeks ago.
Mundine has also stated numerous times that he wants to be a 3 weight champion. he has also said numerous times he wants to avenge his loss to Siaca.
Where are you getting your information from PerthKronk?

The title of this thread is: Will Mundine ever rematch Siaca? a simple yes or no response is fine.
I think this fight would sell. even though i hope Mundine has bigger fish to fry, i somehow doubt he will get there. so, a logical money earner for him would be this rematch. If he stays a middleweight of course it wont happen, but if he does choose to come up to Light Heavy, this rematch will be in the works.

if siaca picks up a belt at light heavy it could have a chance of happening

only chance siacca has of winning a belt is if there is a lucky dip draw in a men`s outfitters .

No he won't , why would he ? he got beaten by the better man first time out and seems content on rematching no one that has beaten him ,Ie Ottke , Kessler & Siaca , only blokes he's beaten get a rematch for obvious reasons .
