Klitschko-Austin, without a doubt. How can any fight beat this? Taylor-Spinks went all 12 rounds and Spinks did way better than expected, making it interesting.

What are you guys talking about? Klitschko-Austin was actually nice to watch cuz Austin got knocked out by Wlad who only used his left hand throughout the fight. Now Taylor-Spinks is a different story....these two guys bored me to the point that I would've rather watched snails have sex than sit through the torture they put me through.

Klitschko-Austin might have been the most frustrating for it being made in the first place (although since Sultan went on to beat Briggs, that probably made it look slightly better than a complete farce on paper), but it wasn't the most boring since it ended up with Austin's head sounding just like a major league fastball hitting a catcher's mitt.

Sultan-Briggs on the other hand, was an example of a boring fight that was a letdown for 12 rounds thanks to Briggs not throwing a damn thing.

The Andre Dirrell fight a few weeks ago, and Taylor-Spinks are up there, too.

taylor/spinks was amazingly bad so that wud be my pick&id fully put the blame on jermain 'no intentions' taylor for that 1,witter vs moura was an eye waterer as well,witter is just plain boring bordering on unwatchable&moura has gotta be the most unmexican mexican ive ever seen so thats the runner up so far(tho i think witter v harris is gonna be so boring that itll be the 1st world title fight ill ever purposefully miss)

There is nothing ridiculous of nominating Oscar vs. Floyd. It wasn't the most boring fight but as the author of the thread said "or most disappointing" it can definately qualify as most disappointing cause lots of fans had higher expectations for the fight.

However Spinks Taylor i agree was far worse fight if you take away all expectations and rationally judge.

Briggs-Ibragimov had the most boring performance all year by Briggs. Dirrell was 100X more exciting than Shannon. And Sultan didn't do too much either, extremely boring match. Klitschko-Brewster was a complete disappointment and a borefest too, because Brewster showed little effort and Wlad didn't get a huge knockout. Taylor-Spinks wasn't as boring as some people say on here. It was interesting in some ways and the Steward-Taylor in between rounds talks were funny.

Tony Thompson-Luan Krasniqi ,the fight was awful.Thopmson is okay but luan gave an embarrassing performance and quitted the ring.My second chooise is Klitcshko-Brewster 2.It was not a big action ,which everybody had waited.

Not really boring, but Calzaghe - Manfredo was a joke of a fight. Ridiculous matchmaking and stupid stoppage. Now Taylor-Spinks, that was an unwatchable fight.

Agreed! It looks like Briggs is trying to hold his title (for the producer of the years most boring fight) for the second year in a row. His fight last November against Lyakhovich was possibly the most boring fight that I'd ever seen. (minus the last 20 seconds)

That fight was down right fucking painfull to watch.
