I really think that it wasn't panning out the way they wanted it to. Go to espn.com and hear what Dan Rafeal says about the rematch, nobody really cares to see it. So what he is doing is waiting for the Cotto/Margo fight, and to come out of retirement and face the Megastar Cotto is going to become, should be sensational.

de la hoya will fight the winner of cotto margarito. if de la hoya wins, floyd will fight him to prove he could have beaten either of them (even though i believe he's ducking both). if cotto or margarito beats de la hoya, floyd stays retired stating his disinterest and claiming he's got nothing to prove. he's looking out for no1.
